Perhaps a system like League of Legends has (not played in ages) but i believe upon leaving a match a player couldnt join another for 15 minutes with this effect doubling upon each further disconnect (30, hour, 2 hour etc). This system does seem brutal of course, everyone has a life and may have to disconnect from time to time but if you think about it, people will think wisely before leaving knowing that they will have to wait to play again (not like waiting for server response doesnt do that job for us anyway ;) joking) It will also fix the full server problem i mean, why should someone be allowed to disconnect and reconnect when other people are desperately trying to get into it too, if you disconnect you should lose the right to join for a few minutes letting new players into the server. I know what your thinking now "well i'll just not disconnect then, ill stay at the player screen or just afk in a safe spot ingame until i come back" add a force kick to players who have not moved in the last 15 minutes

He's right, after you play a while you'll learn the towns and the best approach into town, im not going to march into stary sobor from the opposite side of town to get to the military camp at the north of it. im going to sweep around the north west side using the treeline as cover then head south into the camp, i could also swoop round the SE of the town but then my butt would be exposed because of the open fields. Before entering a place with more than 3 houses, whip out you binoculars and scope it out, find out where your going to enter and leave, locate the safest enterable building to lead zombies into to get rid of safely and efficiently. If your being shot at, your not north enough, get out of cherno/elektro ya damn noob, there aint no bandits at my devils castle -

Worst thing i probably did was unintentional really, i decided that for a laugh i would climb the smoke stack nexto the elktro power station and stand at the top, i stood there saluting the world and throwing flares to get my position, eventually people began to crawl out of their holes and start saying Global chat conversation between 2-3 guys; "powerplant friendly?" "powerplant flare friendly?" "you on the tower" "he's saluting" "whats he doing up there" "he's saluting ive got sniper scope" "probably enjoying the view" "bandit or not?" "no survivor" Surely enough this global chatter attracted every bandit within 3000 metres, i eventaully got sniped by someone with a silenced weapon, some people vowed to avenge their silent saluter and so ensued a 30min sniper war over the hills around elektro with approx 15 people in the area, i respawned a few times and kept bringing zombie trains into the mix for more chaos. Was pretty fun.- 404 replies

Hospital in cherno i think, hospital in elektro, field hospital south of balota airfield and one field hospital near the largest factory in cherno and another near the big building in stary sobor. Thats all i know. -
i always imagined i would use a radio to create distractions, like somehow remotely turning it on after strategically placing it on the other side of town, it'd be preety damn loud so all zed's would run for the sound leaving you free to quickly loot the town before the batteries died etc. I saw a topic about some player supposedly finding a "radio" already ingame giving off sounds like radio numbering then another guy claiming these numbers were coordinates to hunting towers, however believable that may be it led me to the idea that you should be able to broadcast a position or message (which would mark itself on your map providing you have one) so that survivors can group up easily. It could also be used by bandits as a sort of ambush aswell you gotta be carefull. It sure would be nice to have direct communication with someone in game at a distance "privately" though as not everyone uses vent or skype or teamspeak when playing.

Get crippled by zombie think its ok im in a town im sure to find morphine sometime. NOTHING SPAWNS crawl 2k to airfield looting every building on the way, find nothing. Get to airfield nothing here either Threw myself off the roof of the air control tower is disgust -

This new skin ideas really interests me, i would really love certain skins such as military, officer or even priest. -
You know i found it a pretty good review, it showed gameplay, but not buggy gameplay sure i could tell the character got stuck in the doorways in elektro bank but it had good footage and a good commentator, one gripe is that the main guy kept butting in when the other guy was speaking and the other guy was actually saying some interesting stuff and the guy would say something daft and then there would be a pause. So just fix the scripting maybe of the reviews so that noone talking over each other and it'd be pretty good i would watch another.

Respawning as a bandit is a stupid idea, especially when people want to try the truly good and the truly evil paths with all the people on these forums going on about teamwork im yet to discover it, being new and a bandit straight away ive played solo exclusively for a week now. One way to truly solve this would be to add 2500 back to a players score upon a new life meaning those who became bandits out of self defence are given a clean slate whilst the truly evil mass murderers will still remain a bandit as their score is usually in the tens of thousands -

Should be an entire new skin, like a shirtless man with weeping sores all over their body. Side effects of eating human flesh should result in the player becoming "psychotic" in the sense that they will randomly begin shouting non nonsensical nonsense that other players can hear and from that point on only able to take sustenance from dead survivors both drink and food can be satisfied from eating a survivors body. Nothing is worse that the feeling that you may be hunted down for your gear or even your own flesh. It would be interesting to have Bandits Survivors and Cannibals existing, i believe even bandits would think Cannibals are worse than themselves creating more ethical dilemmas in the game such as are bandits worth killing over cannibals?

The more zombies means you need to team up more than ever unfortunately i appear to be a "Perma bandit" ive been stuck on -8839 humanity for the past couple of days now and have died like 10 times nothing seems to affect it. -

They could easily become a crawler if their legs were truly broken and i always imagined infected to be immune to pain despite the "fck that hurts" you sometimes hear from shooting them which im sure isnt supposed to be there, i dont see why they shouldnt rise off I do realise that if they lost all their blood they couldnt possibly get back up but come on its a game and its a little fun, just like when you walk into a church and a load of pope's run at you. (ingame) -
[attachment=155] Grenade + Tin can = Grenade in a can trap Lovely little bandit tries to enter building, springs the wire pulling the grenade out the can causing it to explode after a short delay.

I like the idea personally but the robbing should inflict half as much humanity loss from a murder to the robber so robbing still has negative effect, sidearms (and their ammo) should be unable to steal or perhaps introduce a item steal limit of like 5, so just choose the juiciest loot instead of all of it. -
If your gonna add a lock door option to protect stuff then the game should also put in some bolt cutters or a crowbar that spawns, because nothing should be safe from anything in dayz

what i do is spawn, find me a nice barn and grab me a remmington, shoot a player and nick his food then haul arse to the top right hand corner of the map, make myself a car or a helicopter, set up a tent near the airfield and farm the military hardware respawns, head back into towns and cities to pk if you get bored after that, that whole process might take you a few days depending on loot and vehicle spawning chances -
I became a bandit because i thought it would be easier, working in a team is too cumbersome, they want to share loot, they wanna borrow your ammo and they draw too much attention to myself, im a smash and grab player, i'll scope out a place, rush in kill a player if i have to and get out with the least noise possible. Right now im trying to get my humanity down but recently ive had to suffer a lot of "Self defence" meaning im about -10,000 right now so i've ran to the furthest corner of the map waiting for it to go down.
