Hi, I'm so glad you took your time to read this! Okay, so I haven't played this game for a while. But I still had Arma 2 + Arma combined operations on my steam. I tried to update the game. But it says: Could not run the game with shared content. Update the game first. (-Dahell?) Then I opened my beloved and trusty DayZ Commander. I select install/update. I see the new version that is up to date is 102591. I select it. BUT, after questioning me if I want to install so and so and it runs the extracting service, it displays an error window named ArmA2 OA Patch, saying "Wrong CD Key". Now I know it is several months ago I played the game. But seriously? I would really appreciate any kind of help! I have tried googling the problem and I've seen a lot of matching issues with cd keys. But it didn't seem to have the same problem. Btw, I am not that good at computer services and programming and so on... So if you could help me, but in a kinda explaining way, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!!! -Alex

Okay so I installed the Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead BETA too... And updated it and the other operation arrowhead... Now I am allowed to update arma 2, but still not in steam. I have to do it with DayZ Commander. But it doesn't make errors with Wrong CD key anymore.

So you want me to reinstall with or without steam?

I think I have the same problem somehow... When I try to update the game in steam, it says it can't run because of shared content and that I need to update the games first.... Also if I try to update it through DayZ Commander, it extracts the new version 102591 and when it reaches 99% it suddenly says error. "Wrong CD key".... Wth? Anyone help? Well.... Today, me and my friend started all over. We had fun in a ts chat. We went through military bases, found some weps and stuff. We saved up tires for a truck and everything was running smooth. As he found a tractor we put all our stuff in there. In total: 7 tires and a lot of other car stuff, for the perfect vehicle. He took off as I again approached the city for more wheels, when he suddenly shouted out. I asked what was wrong, and he answered....: I exploded. Thank you for the car explosion bugs, when you hit a stone with your vehicle, that is on size with a foot, with only 10km/hr.

Suggestion: 2 fast suggestions for easier ways to handle your gear in inventory.. 1) When you want to drop some mag, which is low on ammo, it doesn't drop the one you select, but the first in the row. That can be very annoying because it takes a war to get it off ya. 2) If you are quite new to the game, like me, and still can't figure out and remember how many slots there are in your bag, and you have to count the bag spaces when you loot gear, it would be a lot easier if it was shown how much space there were in total and left. Like: 5/16 slots used. Also you should be able to actually open your bag without looting gear, but just in normal inventory... Thanks for reading...

I found this crossbow, but they are useless unless shooting inside a house or something. You can't hit a zombie with a crossbow when running. And when you miss, you'll never find the arrows again. And you have very few. I suggest that: -arrows should be stackable to like 5 each stack. -easier to find arrows in grass/stone/wood/zombies when shot -easier to pick up, because they are so thin, they are hard to select -and a whole other thing, fix the zombies god damn zigzag.... Suggestion: Making groups for Day Z to increase the cooperative experience. Suggestions: 1) In the player list "P" you will be able to select people and send a group invite for them. 2) When you are in a group and on a server with nameplates enabled, the nameplate will be another color, easy to recognize. 3) If you posses a map, you should be able to locate yourself and groupies on the map. 4) The Group Channel, should be only available for your group. 5) Friendly fire will still be enabled. Just a short idea I had, hope it will be an opportunity. -Love your stuff! Alexzo

-About the Group Chat thing. If you meet some guy you want to talk to, it would be a lot easier and faster, to do so through Group chat, instead of inviting on whatever chat program you use. But isn't that important anyway. -And I meant with compass aswell, my bad.

Well, this is a zombie survival game. Not deer hunter.

Okay so the patch went from 1.7.2.3 to 1.7.2.4. I go to the patch download page and download the 1.7.2.4 and I extract it where all the other addon mods are. But when i extract it says replace the file with an already existing file? I do this with both the files from the small patch, but somehow, I just replaced the files, I don't know. Because I'm still at patch 1.7.2.3. I don't know what to do, tried it over and over again. -Thx for reading, Alexzo

I know it's an alpha version, but the first thing they need to fix is the movement speed of the zombies. You can't shoot them while running. Until they are all up in your face and makes you bleed. Which makes most guns useless. If you don't 1 shot them before they start running, you'll pretty much get attacked. Maybe give them more hp or attack. But the movement is ridicules. Just a short report I'd like to announce. Well, some places you just die without doing anything. Second time it happend to me now. I was running in the woods, then i fell in some kind of steep dirt. Not very high so i wouldn't be damaged by the landing.. But for some reason i couldn't fall down or climp up. Suddenly i break my leg and then i die. Great. Second time was in a town with cranes and stuff. I was going to cross some rails but i wanted to be as stealth as posable. So I decided to cross the rails, under the crane, between the cranes wheels, there is a little space between them. Just as I touched the rails, my man decided to stand up, for some reason he got damaged because he stood up in the cranes steel, and then i broke my leg... I wasn't able to stand up again and i got killed by zombies because i couldn't run. Please fix it.. Destroys the game and kills people in the most less fair ways..
