Can't see why people are going on about his playstyle and not the overall point of this thread, which is kills such as this shouldn't happen.

M4 is accurate just depends on the guns condition itself. I had a M4 with magpul/ACOG that shot more accurately than my mosin with a long range scope @ 400-600m. Both had biopods, everything was pristine. The mosin I picked off someone else I had shot, m4 was on the ground. Another thing to note to those who say the actual weapon doesn't have condition, kill someone who has a pistol and make sure you pump a lot of rounds into him then try and use the pistol he had...it wont work.

I run solo most of the time so a mosin and m4 is a must have for me. All i need is a silencer on the m4.

When you return fire make sure you kill before they can log ^^. This happened to me today, NW airfield guy shooting at me and a friend so I turn on him and pop 2 mosin rounds into his body, he then logs but I'm sure his dead when he comes back on.

The same thing that makes someone a good CoD/BF/MMOs/MOBA player. Knowledge of mechanics and how they work, how to make the most of mechanics, how to react to certain situations, etc. Some general stuff like aim, confidence, reaction times, etc. I mean really do you think everyone is the same?. I know personally in cqc I'll beat most people since I spent a good 2 years playing FPS competitively. On topic: KOS down south is sad bandits who need to get skill because clearly they think there skill (1st part) is below others so they need to fight un-armed people, KOS up north imo is fine unless you get the jump on someone else, then you hold them and steal there shit.

Spent around 6/7 hours on my char, took a break and after logging back in I got Zombie sounds playing with no Zombie in sight. Every Item I right click on in my inventory just has "receiving", cant open doors, cant equip my weapons. I've tried restarting the game, steam and my PC none of it worked. Might just be the server so I'll try another soon but if it isn't has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?. EDIT: UUghh wrong section, could it please be moved over to "Dayz troubleshooting" thanks. Still used to going under mod.

Nice so can I get a proper response? Or has the forum become pointless in the past year nd a half?

Stopped playing a lil bit before the new year, was expecting the SA to be out by now but I see it still isn't? when is the ETA for it? Also whats new in the MOD itself? I would check but downloading 2 games and going through the trouble to make both work just doesn't seem like fun. Thanks

Registered with them since its the only server i can find that has over 20 people with a ping lower than 250 (its 200 -_-)

One question i haven't seen anyone ask about but i really want to know. Spawning, is it gonna be the same as it currently is which pretty much makes every FPS idiot just stay South and fight cause a AK is good enough to kill or will they spread the spawns around all across the map? make it random.

Bizon, m4 holo, m24, g17 If i have this combo i own things on a regular basis. EDIT: although i haven't played in a while so i wouldn't know anymore. Waiting for standalone still.

Can people stop saying "in real life" a game made and based off real life would suck dick, since you can go out and have that experience everyday. @ the okes saying killing people effects you. In a life or death situation (which it pretty much is always in Dayz, bandit skin or not) killing a person will not effect me in anyway. Besides go read up on some history, for years people have killed each other and only a few go crazy (i can't even think of one, please name a few), most stay normal and carry on doing it till they die, why can't we in a game?

Whether skins are kept/removed or they add consequences doesn't matter. I'll carry on killing all 'geared' people cause its fun for me (yes, I play cod and many other games of different genre (total war series)) and its the most challenging. Skins won't change anything for me and likely most others as well. Anyway I heard skins are being added (camo, ghillie and lots more) so who cares? P.s I didn't bother to read this whole thread, just stating skins don't matter.

Quick question, when Dayz standalone does come out will we still be using this forum, or will it be revamped, or will it move? Just curios cause this forum is still extremely slow at times and seems like it could use some "work". So I haven't played Dayz in a while and have gotten pretty bored with other games, so i decided to come back to Dayz but this time on a private hive. Only one problem - I'm staying in South Africa - why is it a problem? cause i don't wanna play on a server with a ping of 250 + So would anyone be so kind to recommended a South African a server he could join with a ping of at least 150-250 that's reasonably populated and has a whitelist? Don't come in here and just advertise your server unless you know i would get a ping like that, cause I'm not keen to register with 20+ forums and having to get 20+ fake emails just to join 20+ different servers in hope that i will find one with a reasonable ping.

To many new games out for me personally, i still lurk the forums every once in a while but don't play anymore. Dayz atm just can't compete with guild wars 2, darksiders 2, boderlands 2, etc. Got tired of running for ever from one place to another. Might be back for standalone if there is more to do. At least Dayz gave me a couple months worth of play time.

Please leave then, i play CoD4 daily for comps, etc, and know of many others that do to. Half the tek9 community (CoD4 mainly) plays Dayz as well. In fact stop playing every game that has some form of FPS in it since its bound to have a couple CoD players in it (you play guild wars 2? better stop). Sad when people frown upon others for playing a certain game they like, reminds me of the music genre whores shouting house sucks, rock / metal is best. This is ofc all PC related, pretty much all console communities are bad. Ontopic: Its the internet, let the Arma elitist (couple thousands lol) keep themselves proud for playing such a unpopular game (without mods).

Why do you NEED humanity? to grow your e-peen more? Also its really easy to see if you need blood. 1st clue would be bleeding the 1st time, so now you know you below 12k. When color starts fading you know you below 9k and should eat some meat. I really hate using this but IRL you wouldn't be able to tell exactly how much blood you lost, since this game is partially for realism, i support the debug crapitor going away.
