DMR is a POS when it comes to long range shots, m24 is accurate all the way. @jdz If you got no rangefinder the SVD is superior to the DMR. @amaroenuz m24 compared to the cz550? I find DMR mags all over the place yet i struggle to find a decent amount of cz550 ammo, not only that but if you got no rangefinders you will need mildots and if I'm not mistaken the m24 bullet travels faster = better for hitting moving target. Really when tent duping, etc is fixed and rangefinders become much rarer, the SVD (especially this baby) and m24 will shine more.

Note: I used the search function searching "spawn" and nothing came up, cba to look harder. Its boring as hell staying north, towns are empty, no one goes to these places cause a AK does just as good as a M4A1 does for killing so whats the point? My suggestion to fix this is to make every town a possible spawn location, this will spread the players out more. If you get lucky you will get a Stary spawn or a NW airfield spawn, this will also lower coast campers since there's not as many players there anymore. Cherno and electro won't be sniper heaven anymore. This idea came to me from play Lingor, since the whole map is a island and you spawn on the coast, you can spawn anywhere which spreads the players out a lot.

Does it really matter? I said it a while ago. As long as it isn't some uber gun with thermal (as50 thermal) it doesn't matter. G36C takes like 3-6 bullets, so does a M4A1 and so does a AK. Silenced? who cares the M4 SD is the same and weak as shit just like any other gun thats silenced.

Night is awesome, I've noticed the loot is much better at night. During the day i never find a sniper rifle @ the NW airfield, but at night I will be unlucky not to see at least 1 DMR or M24. Heck every SVD I've found (4 in total) was at night.

@ Toft Contrary to popular belief you won't actually find many there (atleast on the servers i play). Every kill I've gotten up north counted as a murder, I've gotten more bandit kills at the coast (when the spawn bug happens, or i respawn).

Agreed. Wouldn't know how teams like to run since I'm solo bandit to the max lol.

Some people like the "weaker" snipers because it needs a bit more skill, personally like them to but only have a m107 atm. Another reason why people like the SVD is cause its rare as fk and looks sexy with a ghillie.

Avoid sd weapons like the plague! they horrible for CQC unless you get the jump on another person. Guns I would look for CQC: AKS-74u (good indoors and personal fav cause of CoD4 :)) M4 variants except SD m249 saw m1014 or remington if you have good aim.

I don't exactly use this gear to survive, but it is my fav setup. Note that i actually found (yes m107 in barracks!!!) + traded to get all this, no tent BS. How do you do that spoiler? lol.
