Wipe the hive every month, people moaning about losing gear (which can be found in 4-5 hours) are just butthurt. Hackers are a lot less than a month ago (look at the active players atm). And btw idk which servers you people are playing on, but clearly its the wrong fkin one. Only hacked in weapon i have seen is a M4a1 holo sd which idc about really since SD weapons suck dick. P.S every Alpha I have had the pleasure of playing had wipes every week / month. Its people like you who moan that don't allow open Alphas.

PvE sucks in every online game, AI isn't as challenging as another player in any game so its boring as fuck. Picked "Kill him and hide the body. (Added after suggestion)" So i shoot everything from chickens, goats to players, sitting wit ovear 10k zoms kills cause i r CoD4 fanboy men. No but seriously i kill every other player i see (except unarmed) cause i want to. got a problem? deal with it. BF3 and CoD4 is a option for my play style, but then again i already play that, so Dayz is just another extension to the killing which i enjoy.

Haven't seen a hacker in weeks, this is with servers that got a pop of 30+. Get a new server.And ya i agree with the 2 above me. Just cause someone is better or killed you doesn't make them a hacker, i know when i played CoD4 competitive i accused a fk lot of people, assuming they used hax when they didn't.

Gonna say it again, alpha is adding features and core gameplay mechanics. Beta is bug fixing. A game (or mod in this case) must just be playable in alpha phase, not 100% perfect or to anyones needs.

I shug off hackers all the time, its not like they win prize money or something. The game isn't competitive so starting over is a no problem and part of the fun, if we perhaps played a comp with money involved (like BF3 or CoD4) then yes, i would be pissed at hackers. Anyway on my home server with 30-40+ people on as of late, i haven't seen a hacker for 3-4 weeks now.

Agreed 100% wipe everything. Others game done it to during Alpha (such as World Of Tanks) and in that game, losing progress is a much bigger problem than in this game.

Dogs, since something as simple as a FUCKING restart of the game fixes the graphical glitches every single time for me and 7 others i play with. And again for the 100th time, BETA is bug fixing, Alpha is adding in features (dogs) and core game play mechanics. A alpha must just be playable, not 100% fixed. Its so simple yet people cant understand this.

Def the server. I get 40+ in cities with a ATI 5770, Athlon 3.25Ghz quad core and 12GB of value ram.

Pfff mountain dew is lucky, current life and the 1st thing i found was mountain dew. 1 trip to the NW airfield got me a m4a1 holo + m24 + NVG's.

IF you became a hero and your aim was dropped 5% cause you to friendly (idk lol) that would be a disadvantage. Currently there are no disadvantages given to either hero's or bandits, only play-styles have a disadvantage which is present in every game, cause certain play-styles are not as good as others, etc.

You can get something as a hero as well? you get a bullet proof vest for small cal weapons, run faster, cooler skin, trust with the skin, etc. For bandits those threats fight back btw, its not a simple "i shoot you lose" all the time and which bandit never scavenges? I'm sorry we all start from scratch when dead right? and which bandit doesn't go to hotspots? we make the hotspots hot. Also why do you "have" to go to stary? nw airfield? everything you need to help others is South. Again as i said, if you choose to play the harder play-style (Shockadin which was my WoW example, I don't know how yours relates at all, maybe re-read it.) then that's your problem, I find being a solo bandit pretty hard to VS groups, easier would be running around with a mak + medical supplies and help people, cause if i die i lose nothing worth while.

You can't balance for play-styles, if you choose to play a certain way that has its disadvantages then that's your problem, perfect example being a WoW paladin Shockadin in TBC (look it up if you want) which isn't a viable spec at all anymore since WoTLK yet people still play it and live by it cause they want to. Few questions though, where is the punishments for being heroes? you choose to put yourself at risk to help others (like cops, heck even superheroes? being a criminal is favored?) which isn't punishment but your choice. How do you think this game would end up if they balanced everything for all types of play-styles? My play style is solo play killing others, then trading there gear to better myself. Personally see myself as a Bandit trader or a Bandit looking to cash in a bounty, should they balance this for me? since i must risk trading with a bandit skin or meeting others i don't know to trade with. I see no disadvantages for either "bandits" or "heroes" just one style of play is easier than the other depending on who you are and what you can do. If you would like to point out though why a bandit play-style is favored, please be my guest since i know you just gonna post advantages for that style, yet heroes also has its advantages with the main one being trustworthy.

They should just remove tents completely. Its so stupid "O i died, let me go back to our clans tents and re-equip!" - this still applies when duping is fixed. No point in making people lose all there gear upon death, cause they will just run to there closest tent and re-gear.

This has turned into your favorite weapon or something? lol. Anyway most underrated for me is the Bizon, thing shoots so fast it cripples people quick.

His doing it to move his camp from 1 server to another? if duping wasn't a problem there would be nothing wrong with it at all.

His gonna have to either wait for next gen consoles or really cut down a lot on the game itself for it to get 30 FPS @ 720p. Will eventually lead to PC port, he will see the nice big bucks he gets from console players since every dick on the PC is gonna pirate it and play on private hives (yes possible + tunngle if it gets LAN). Always ends up happening so w/e. Enjoy Dayz while you can.

So i think I'm pretty good with PC hardware and what not, I'll give some tips on your build :) That CPU is really good, stick with it unless you want to overclock. If you want to overclock you are gonna have to get a K series intel CPU such as the i5 2550k, etc. The hard drives are good as well, don't listen to the other guy about getting a single 2tb since with 2 1tb you can run a RAID and get more throughput. For the RAM i would much rather get Value ram since gaming ram doesn't add much performance at all for the extra cost and is only recommended to get if you are overclocking or using programs that like a lot of ram. The important part, the GPU. Personally i think the gtx 550 is a POS for the price. Would much rather try and get either a 6850 / 7770 or better from ATI and from Nvidia a gtx 560 ti. The 6*** series cards from ATI can be bought 2nd hand for very cheap these days since the 7**** series has been out a while, could try and find a sick deal on a 6950. Everything else is fine tbh. Case is personally preference and I'm not to good with motherboards, suppose you could look for some cheap Gen3 mobo from Asrock or something. The next patch doesn't fix many bugs because its alpha (ya its annoying but its the truth), alpha is ment for adding features / core gameplay mechanics and improving them. The mod must just be playable (which it is, even with all the bugs), expect bug fixes beta. I assume most bugs come from it being a mod, making Arma do things it was not intended for most likely screwed some things up, even if its a orginial arma map.

Bizon its the only silenced weapon in this game i like to use. M4a1 holo since nubetubes are fun and either a m24 or SVD. Be mad @ dat bizon.
