why can't you play with your 'mates' that said to get this game, sure they will help you out? -

It does have a steep learning curve as did the mod, and i believe zombies/loot are a little bugged at the moment and don't re-spawn. The enjoyment can come from little acheivements, finding something decent after an age of searching, coming across a player than doesn't KOS and then working together and perhaps sharing stuff? Its a tricky game, but the things you list as lacking, some see as refreshing. It makes a nice change to not be drawn along a linear route with no 'real' decisions to make of your own. and as i just saw your latest post, I hope steam don't give anyone a refund for not reading the description properly -
I say cut and paste the heavy out of TF2's nom nom nom sound ;)

yup, like this!

I think there are probably just as many people that enjoy the 'night-time' experience and shy away from day-times servers, so i kind disagree with the OP there. I do think that the day/night cycle needs addressing, as people who can only play at night get little choice on servers that have a decent ping. I'd like to see the night/day cycle either spend up, or probaly better have a split between day/night servers, so 50% of the UK servers are on the same time as real life and the other 50% are -12 hours? Just to add, i'm loving the game, and only get more excited as i play regardless of the bugs etc, feels like we're once agin on the ground floor of something big!

sounds fun thou!

like it a lot! Think theres a few things fallout3 got right that could be implemented in SA

i like the idea you could pretend you were shoot and drop, think most players would continue to shoot you thou

dressing up as a wizard?

what are the error messages? Are you using Dayz Commander? Do you have the right version for the map you are trying?
-
i guess, but i'd prefer taking bits off the car for storage in backpack when logging off, like a couple of wheels. Then log back on and re fir them. still a risk your car would be gone, but it would require some effort.

that sounds easier to implement

sensible idea

Hopefully not been suggested, i did a search. Just an idea for storage, make bins, postboxs, lockers, cupboards and more available for limited storage, No locks or anything, but make enough in game that its not the first place you'd look. Similar to Fallout 3, where you'd store stuff in bins/postboxes and come back later for picking them up. In dayz they'd still be the risk that your stuff would be looted, but it would require survivors to check lots of places, and you might have a house in the middle of nowhere where you can store some stuff that not many people would look in.
