    Game is growing too fast?

    A lot of players probably don't realise this is an alpha, they then become angry at the glitches and bugs and ragequit. That's the only problematic thing I see with having a large playerbase in alpha to be honest. There's not much the devs can do about it though, maybe they should add a big ass 'THIS IS AN ALPHA, EXPECT UNSTABLE PERFORMANCE, GAMEPLAY AND LOTS OF BUGS' disclaimer somewhere.

    Steel bolt recovery

    It's supposed to be retrievable, though I've never actually been able to retrieve the bolts myself. I tend not to bother with Xbows.

    Spawn on coast glitch with existing character.

    Spawned on the beach as well, still have all my gear though, not a big deal. It's an alpha, things like this are to be expected. (If you can't deal with it, come back when it's in beta)

    The New Zombie Count is AWESOME

    I think increasing spawn times and lowering the current zombie count a wee bit would be a perfect compromise for the playerbase to be honest.

    The PvP Discussion Thread

    Just wanted to add my 2 cents I love PvP in this game, and I sincerely hope they won't cater to carebears. PvP is what makes Day Z exciting and unique, without it it would quickly become just another zombie mod. That being said, the bandit system needs some tweaking, there's no denying that. It should at the very least become easier to lose your bandit status, since it's very easy to become a bandit just by acting in self-defence. Ideally, only true PKers should receive the bandit skin, while still maintaining the ability to lose it easily if they ever decided to try a different playstyle. Currently, once you go - humanity, it's impossible to ever regain any unless you are content with just letting people kill you at sight. (Basically, humanity only spirals down once you hit bandit) Anyway, it's an alpha and I'm sure the system is all but final so I'm not too worried, the humanity system is a good beginning, and with more zombies the emphasis on PvE and the risk of PvP is further increased (while still remaining an important aspect of the game). As long as they avoid artificial 'safe zones' and PvE enforcement elements, I'm happy.

    Compressed day/night cycle?

    Just find servers that run on daylight when you're playing, there should be plenty, even in your region. Also, 100 something ping is very manageable in ARMA 2, so it shouldn't be a problem.

  8. The game definitely needed more zombies, though the current amount may be a little overkill. Just a little less with longer spawn times would be perfect. I also concur that you should be able to outrun zombies eventually, that way at least you would see less people log out to lose aggro, which is really cheese. (But understandable, can't expect people to just give up and let themselves be killed) /Thread Keep up the great work btw, just ignore the people whining. Some of them seem to be entirely oblivious to the meaning of ALPHA.
