My friends and I are pretty kitted out from several runs to the airfield, so, I was wondering, if there were boats, we could head to a small island and store stuff there. Is it still possible to get a boat? I remember seeing some videos where people were driving boats. Where to find?

Hopefully War Z will take away some of the morons, haters, and idiots of this forum to the game. War Z will not win over DayZ, trying to put the stuff they're doing into the game is just stupid MMO elements that don't belong in a game like DayZ.

Alienwares have shiny lights and cases, I agree. It can be matched by a custom built PC easily, for 1/3 of the price.

Perhaps you could see this as a learning experience not to trust trees. Also, don't complain about your death, whether legit or by death. We all die at some point eventually, so there's no use getting mad about it. This is the only game/mod that actually makes death enjoyable, because I can see it 2 ways: funny, or an experience.

Had a similar experience, except it was 2 guys with ghillie suits and high-powered rifles. I simply shut the door and walked away.

I feel like I'm one of the few that has never broken a bone going over a fence, even a barbed wire fence. The most infuriating thing for me is when I aggro a zombie from the other side of town, even though I can't be seen or heard on the zombie's LOS.

NEVER EVER buy an Alienware. It is an overpriced case with flashy lights. A 800$ custom PC could beat it out in benchmark tests. If you can avoid it, don't get a laptop, buy parts and build a desktop.

I've run into 3 Heli crash sites over the past 2 days. One I found near Polana to the East, then found 2 more with my friends. If you just run a little bit into the wilderness, and happen to zoom in randomly, you can find them pretty easy.

What server were you on? That might have been me and my buddies. :D

Zombies can be a challenge no matter what equipment you have, time of day, location, etc. If they aggro and you shoot, you just bring a town. Shoot some more, bring some more. They are a challenge, especially when you are trying to be stealthy, or are unarmed. More I wanted to type, but I can't think of it right now.

Yeah as you said, people without mics seem less trustworthy, simply because they don't talk. I'm not a very talkative person myself, but I use a mic when playing with my real life friends. You should probably just invest in a mic anyway, it saved my life in one instance. I opened some church doors and 2 guys with military weapons were pointing them straight at me. I said over mic: "I'll just leave now..." and closed the door and walked away. I bet if I hadn't had my mic, they would've shot me on sight for not reacting. Plus, text takes time to type, and you can't always do that when on the run or in a dire situation. Especially with zombies on your tail.

You have to have some DLC pack for high resolution models, I don't know what it is called though.

So...raid it and take their things. If they have so much, they probably wouldn't notice.

Start up Operation Arrowhead normally without DayZ, go to profile, then select new. You can have several profiles with different characters, I think.

Dangit, I moved. Does that mean I'm screwed now in Debug fields? Also I have no map, so I have no idea which way I'm going. Or a compass. And it was a glitched spawn.

A blue Chemlight is the best at night, it can only be seen by other players from 35m away. Using a chemlight is a bit awkward at first, here's how to do it: Make sure a chemlight is in your active inventory, not your backpack, and then press F to switch to it. You should see weapon text in the upper right for a chemlight. Primary fire will throw the chemlight, it will take a moment for the animation to play. Walk over to it, scroll wheel on it, and select "Pick Up Chemlight". There you go, you now have a mobile light source. If you don't have a chemlight, use your flashlight sparingly, as it's a HUGE giveaway to other players. Never use road flares, it's like painting a huge target on your head.

I only get this error on 95054 servers. I can connect just fine on 95168 and 95208.

There are, I remember my friend and I trying to figure out how to use a chemlight when we first started and got on a server when it was night. I looked up and there are plenty of stars.
