There are 4 drop tables and 8 crash models that are usable. The crash spawning mechanism has been left vanilla, but the additional tables and models are in the configs for server owners use. Players can choose from any of these themed loot drops: German, Czech, US, Britain. RF Armes has been added to Dayz Conflicts. This won't make an appearance into Dayz Celle until V2.0, but has been preemptively added to make Dayz Conflicts essentially finalized. 2 More Gazelle Variants have been added Dorfmark has received some map improvement Bergen has received extra attention, it is a more dangerous town now. A huge amount of work has been done on Fallingbostel. This includes a very large mansion with the only 'Estate' loot table (Gold weapons, special forces & Deagles). There is also a small army base, mosque and an expansion to the village ChronG is being deployed in V1.8. This is a mechanic that will reduce overcast and rain during the night so players are able to see properly. The time skipping past is currently disabled as the server time sync is breaking it! 3rd Person view in helicopters will be disabled by default, admins will easily be able to reintroduce 3rd person through the init line. Balancing: Many weapons received scaling to their damage, on average weapons are a closer representative of their caliber. Vehicle speeds off road have been increased, this has been done in a linear way Rain has received a slight temperature decrease, it won't be as devastating Mk14's can fire DMR rounds once again, DMR rounds have received a damage reduction LMG's are now usable with a backpack - There will be some that might not be, please report them! The damage changes has resulted in an increase to most low tier weapons. The Mp5 will 2 shot zombies (2-4 on players). DMR has received a slight damage reduction. Most pistols have been made somewhat relative to scale. A good "rule of thumb" is the bigger caliber weapons do more damage. Most SD rounds are weaker then their supersonic counterparts Fixes: Bad Vehicle Type on respawn players being moved to debug due to incorrect humanity morphing DMR ammo exploit Hospitals are working again (sorry!) fixed 'ca\air\data\optika_heli_tl.paa' error Bandit's losing their gear on becoming a bandit Errors on player login Players are able to run with broken legs Missing Config: RH_Python Dayz Conflicts V1.2 Conflicts has been finalised for V2.0 Dayz Celle and beyond, players should not need to update conflicts until after the standalone release. It would be good to know. Is there a specific problem with the server files? They are usually straight forward so I'm curious as to the modifications you've made to dayz_server

Why not just incorporate AEG into the game with the street lights. A) It would give people something to do (restoring power) B) Nighttime would be more balanced, I love night but pitch black drives away most players C) It's being done on private hives anyway, why fight change that adds something to the game and has support?

All those things box mentioned can come from another player :P Would be great to see more player "impact" on the world, but I think you've covered that with base building and such. Cross fingers you can get it working :P Thanks so much for providing "real" shots, it's great to see what the game will actually look like!!! -

There was a detection wave recently on a premium site. If the OP wants I can forward some stuff about it. It was a premium site, that doesn't use scripts. It is back up an running though. I think rocket has learned a lesson about cheating and will produce something with eliminating them in mind. A very small number of shitbags isn't a problem on most games, it's when the numbers grow and admins have no ability to seek and destroy (sweep and clear for the military :P) the people doing it. -
Thanks for putting this up Griz15. I wouldn't stress about the trolls, maybe if their dad paid as much attention as you the wouldn't have devolved into what they currently are. It's great that he has to buy a new CD for his bro, this gives consequence to the actions, which is the main lesson. He also needed to understand that surfing the internet on suspicious sites is not a good idea, there's a ton of malware out there. Hopefully your son didn't cause too much damage to the community, if he feels the need to 'redeem' himself and pay back to the community, there's a lot of coalition teams recruiting. :P He's going to hate you for two months, it's a small price to pay for him growing up to appreciate a level playing field and the reward of beating someone fairly!

+1 I started IP banning every person that logs in with a global ban. A good portion of them reattempt with an invalid key (from some $3-5 key shop) or try again with a completely fresh one. It's absolutely astounding, I have proof, but I feel that *** are so accessible that people are more easily able to be tempted. Key stealing needs to be fixed. A really easy way to shut it down is to simple 'steal' the way WoW did it. Register your key to an email (ie activate) If you log on with the same key/different IP, it's suspended and must be reactivated via that email. I also agree that IP should NOT be confidential. They are easily found and what scripters are exposing themselves to by accessing 'hacking' websites is far worse then what can come out of these forums. BI/Battleye registrations + IP banning please! You want to stop script kiddies, cut of their supply of cheap accessible keys -

Your server updates with the community banlist..... There is no auto-banning on a default server, if you ever actually looked at your banlist (it scares me that you haven't) you would see that they are all community bans, with your 4-5 bans at the bottom. Sometimes you have bad weekends, I think I had a 30-40 ban weekend. That's with log evidence. scripting has been greatly reduced in the last month. -

I don't see how side chat would help you avoid getting ganked by a bandit. I'm always up for features that allow more people to play, regardless of 'health'. Hopefully something gets added so you can have a more level playing field -

That's latency related mainly. I suppose it's possible a bored sctiper decided to write one that makes you last just long enough for you to die and after the reports of your server maybe that will happen. I have to ask why? Enforcing something like that is nearly impossible, who buried the body? It doesn't come up on logs and the mach 1 eyeball won't do much good. -
Infra-red missiles require the skill of pointing the launcher at the aircraft. I'm sure most soldiers will tell you it's just like a gun, easy to learn difficult to master. I agree on the less is more strategy, While having a Holo M203 M4A1 makes me feel pretty awesome, it's very hard to beat that initial part of the game where your struggling to survive.

There is nothing there to ban him. However 2 different weapon box is suss as hell. See if there's anything dodge in your other logs and ban him imo. If there's nothing in the other logs, let it slide I guess. -

It's when a vehicle explodes. It's not associated with crashed, should you 'crash' into the sea than you will not record this event. One of these events in your log isn't a big deal. However see 2-3 in quick succession and he'll get on your radar. My advice: Go into your other logs, look at the persons gear set. Pay particular attention to the coordinates! Have a look at his login info, use the IP and GUID. Sometimes they will accidently log in with a banned key, log in with different names. If your %90 sure, ban him, send your stuff off to battle eye and let it get sorted out. by %90 I mean that you know the only thing you are missing is something completely concrete like IWIN.sgf Things that can tip you off Multiple GUID/same IP Weapons not in the game Rapid changes in coordinates Damage markers, you see him take a head hit and another leg hit 40 seconds later, something is up!! Script restrictions As you can see none of these can identify a skiddie alone, but the combination is what gives it away. Hope that helps! -
I'm not %100 sure grid coordinates are useful for an abusive admin. What they are useful for, seeing when someone loots in cherno, then NW airfield 10 minutes later.

Ironic the way Australian internet works; I live in Perth and my connection is faster to Sydney then it is to Adelaide. O.o I was told that the reason for the removal was simply that they ran out of stock. As to "false advertising", I think that's a bit dramatic. The intention was to have the servers in Adelaide from my understanding, circumstance through the set up ended up with Sydney as the location, this was incorrect on their site for a small amount of time. Especially since you were offered a refund and if you work for a large company body, you would understand that sometimes not all employees share information through telepathy and sometimes information isn't %100 accurate. It's great that you've come to let people know, I just don't know if I would've gone the same way about sending the message :S EDIT: My engrish sucks today >_< -

Strange, they sort out my issues lightning fast! Has anyone used the Lingor/Chenaruas Package yet? I have a ton of questions! Is the Chenaruas part connected to a private hive or "the" hive? Will changing reset my IDs? Do I have any extra tools for lingor? (Logs & files) Is the VIlayer hive going to be connected to all other lingors? Or will I just have essentially a separate hive to everyone else? Very excitied to try out lingor tonight, hopefully people are happy to come onto the server!
