Since you had FRAPS on, it would be really nice to see the other sequence. Maybe me and my group can learn something? I can only speak for my self and not the people of my group or can take responsibilty for their actions. Thats me :rolleyes:

I know that the burden of proof is upon us as accusators. But if he had that i would love to see the footage.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt since i don't have any solid proof. But after some time getting killed by hackers you get a bit pissed. And after getting killed, from what we asumed was a hacker, and then kicked we put our tinfoil hats on. (By the way, is the post over this sarcastic? :rolleyes: )

We was running back to check on our gear... , but since you restarted the server, it's all gone. It was also not a makarov, it was a Kobra, and my (raging) friend claims he hit you atleast twice with the As50. You also where a bit lucky finding us, since we had been on the server for like 10 seconds, maybe luck or coincidence. We was cramped up there since we joined another server when a car tried to run us over with an invincible driver. And the mentality for me when playing DayZ is (sadly) trust no one, even admins.

He said "Friendly", but since I'm with a group of bandits (at the time we where 5 ppl) i took a shot at him. At the time of my shot he was hovering and i shot the pilot once in the head (Kobra) and could see a hit, he flew off and landed about 400 meters away. Two off my friends had AS50's and started fireing and reported that the pilot was bleeding. Two people had guille (one of them had AS50), the other one had ha silenced M4A1 and chosed to hide. The pilot then started fire upon us and four of five was killed almost instantly, I was killed with a shot when i was running down a hill (with the downslope away from the pilot (My head might have shown a little). After me he shot the guy in guillie with Silenced M4A1 that was hiding. The firefight after the landing was over in like 10 secs. We respawned and started to run towards our bodies. Then we all got the message: You were kicked from the server. Would like to hear JaegerBomb's version of this (since i know he is on these forums). Either he is the best shot in the world... or something else...

I actually had the Zombie, Cold etc. in mind. Though never wrote it down. I see that many people is very "Anti-Stats", but from the reddit thread most are positive at some of the suggestions i put in the concept.

Well, if something like this was added there could always be a "Grumpy Old Man"-option for those who don't care about stats. I'm one of those kiddies who love stats, i can sit in excel for hours, check my battlefield account etc. just because i love stats. Im soon thirty and the thing i love about stats is that you can see progress. As it is now i only know that i have survied at a maximum time of about X hours, killed about Y zombies and a maximum of Z bandits. I wan't to know that i get better in a game. DayZ is about survival, and I want to see if i get better at it.

This could go a long way in building trust, and paranoia. We wouldn't want this information to show up too quickly though as anyone using a third party voice chat could relay it back to their team. Maybe the info could slowly populate after a few minutes or so for those patient enough. This seems like a nice idea. Some info at the time, I mean, if you spawn and get killed instantly when unarmed most of this info is pretty useless, but if you have been killed after days, weeks or even months of survival this can be a sweet addition, so maybe a 2-3 minute timer on most of the info?

Hello all. This is my suggestion and a concept of a death screen. It would be nice to know how you died, by whom and how long you lived. My idea was to have a lot of variables in some flowing text, since DayZ is about you, creating your own story, and the story can end i two ways: 1. You die. 2. You stop playing. I read some ideas of incorporating somekind of name system, so Unknown would be changed to "Billy Bob" if the character had interacted with him (Maybe got killed after giving some blood etc.). So, what you think?

Woke up yesterday, alone on a beach and it feels like that tend to happen alot these days. I knew that i had some friends in Zeleno so my first goal was to get some supplies and head north, Found a small town called Komarovo and as soon as i saw the towns sign i head a fearsome growl. An infected had seen me, and he was not happy to see me. Since my trusted bandage was useless to fight with i chosed the next best thing: Running like a mad man. After a couple of minutes i found an airfield and i seemed to have lost the infected man. Skulking around the airfield i found a Mp5 and a bunch of G17 and Mp5 clips. I was swell, but a bit hungry. Tried to get my bearings and headed north again... ...after some time, with no action and even less sign of other survivors i found my friends. They had an AK, a glock and an M14 and the best thing of all: Meat and water. A couple of hours followed with alot of walking, killing of some animals and getting their meat. Had a bunch of good gear for getting food and survive, but i wanted something more, some kind of action. I got what i asked for. When crossing a field two infected saw us, we killed them off and then a new sound entered my left ear. The sound of bullets hitting the hill behind me. A sniper. We made a run for it and move to a couple of barns to eat, drink and catch our breath. Suddenly we hear a sound again, this time very familiar: The sound of a gun that was reloaded and before we reacted a spray of bullets hit the barn door. I panicked and kissed the ground while my "friends" ran as fast as they could towards a nearby forrest. I was now alone, and a bit scared. All was quiet. After five minutes on the ground i started to run, hoping that the person shooting at us had fled the field. I started to run after my friends. And about 50 meters inside i found them, happy has small children, and most of all alive. They had found a tent with morphine, blood and 10 cooked steaks. We all agreed that we liked the rush, and had heard rumours of an airbase with a gathering of survivors to the north east. We went for a stroll and finally came to the airfield. (After getting lost a couple of times we entred from the east side and not the southwest as we had planned. We strolled to the point where we had planned to enter. Some infected was in the way and was easly cleared. We found water and a barrack with a semi automatic shotgun inside, since we all had a nice amount of ammo to our guns we left it there. Was about to leave when we heard a motor noice. A UAZ was entering our area and i quicklig hid in one of the rooms in the barracks. My friends ran off and i again was alone. Suddenly i hear one of my friends yell: There is someone with an axe! I looked toward the only entrance and saw a person running towards me, i got of two 3 round bursts and missed. He quickly entered one of the other rooms. Then i saw that i had hit something, right outside was a body with blood pouring out of various places. I hadn't seen him. I knew that i got one of two known people. One in the room... WITH THE SHOTGUN. My heart started to pound, adrenaline was rushing and i poked out and BANG. A shot missed me and i put a well placed three round burst in the shooters head. The car started and drove off. My heart was still pounding and i yelled to my friends that i just wanted to leave this place of carnage and death. We started to run and heard a chopper in the distance. What was this?! Had we killed some people with really powerful friends? One of my friends informed me that they probably are going to fuel the chopper on the airfield. After a while we came to the site where we thought they would have landed. But alas, it was empty. We ran to a safe spot and logged off. Best day of my day-z playing... YET!

On the EU servers i play on I have tried stopping people and make them giving me all their stuff, usually two of these scenarios happen: A: They run away and I shoot them in the back B: My mate shoots them in the face when they lay down and i curse at him for doing so

Hello there, i have now tried to start up DayZ after a break i took, I played some with no issues in may. Server 1: Spawn in the debugging plains/wilderness. (I also got a squad of over 10 soldier including one truck. And alot of "guys" standing still like statues and bodies all around me. Some of the "guys" had gear, some only the old starting gear and some with no gear. Purgatory i thought. Tried solutions for Server 1: Rejoined the server Pressed respawn Pressed abort and changed slot Server 2: Finally, i joined without a problem and got to character creation screen, picked one of the two sexes and was in a dark world. Pressed "L" for flashlight... and nothing (play ArmaII:Arrowhead sometimes and have never changed the controls) So, i thought... why not try a serve with day on it Tried solutions for server 2 Searched for another server Server 3: Tried another server, the result was the loading screen with a tan bar over the text Tried solutions for Server 4: Restarted ArmA Tried to join another server Server 4 - X Bad version of the game (rejected connection) Tried solutions for all Ran Steam in admin mode Verified the steam files Reinstallet battle eye Downloaded latest DayZ-files Restarted the game Tried different servers - with diffrent locations (Ping rangeing from 50 - 250 ) Is bought on Steam - Windows 7 Machine Hope anyone have some suggetions what to do... got some cravings i need to attend to... :beans:
