Due to several technical issues that ARMA has with the DayZ mod as well as other factors related to how VOIP works in game, the method in which you choose to communicate with your group is inferior to the other options that are currently available via third party products. What do you mean?

Rocket said in an interview that he is actually working on completely removing the text chat and the other channels -
barbed wire and sandbags are in the game and work pretty good. barbed wire you need to also ahve a toolbox and sandbags you need a trenching tool you cant move them once they are placed though and you cant jump ovr barbed wire although sometiems you can glitch over it at certain spots

lol...wow I actually play on RU servers when I get home because I dont like playing in the dark for 8 hours. Interestingly enough, they are often more stable than the US servers. -
That is what I typed. The point is that you can not use jsut ARMA free to play DayZ. Why are you making this an issue?

I was on a [legion] atlanta server a few days ago, found a helicopter fully in tact, the admin kept asking where I found it and i told him I didnt know , he said something along the lines of 'well fine, hope you enjoyed it while you had it' and he reset the server. It was extremely lame. -
If you got the game on steam/launch it through steam. when you are holding down W to walk, just bring up the shift overlay, let go of W and then close shift overlay. Voila! Alternatively: 1. Get a keyboard that you can macro 2. get a macro program
