Hey all, I havent been around for a while (a good 2 months or so) But anyway, I logged in where I previously was before up in the NW Airfield and decided to make my way north a bit and explore around and see if I met up with anyone. Well I get to this HUUUUUGE field that looks like a great sniper area. I was waiting for my friend to log in so I just decided to hang out and wait around and spot sit with my thermal. I go into my map and set a marker on the map for >< relatively close to where I was. Then not even 2 minutes goes passed and a huge black bus spawns literally 5 feet away from my right, revving its engine as it spawns. Considering i'm playing by myself and under the influence of....stuff. I nearly shit myself when it happened lol I didn't really stick around to investigate considering the spot I was in didn't really seem like a "normal' place for a bus to be spawning. Anyone else have any experiences like this one?

Stop being a twat, all clans do this as a promotion of themselves. "Proclaim yourself as #1 and people will flock." Also, how would you know that they aren't? Do you yourself have proof otherwise? Also age has no factor. In this game, you lose focus. you die.

In some circles this could still be considered a "cheesy tactic"

You realize the zombies are spawned by the player than came in contact with it first, if he came up on it and the zombies were clustered together, they would have just spawned. I say, keep an eye out and try to search the area around the bus very carefully, dont move fast and always have two angles on everything, if it looks clear.....take it/sabotage it

You're new and basically don't know the sate of the game (kill everything that moves). Some people are just straight asshats, like what you're about to see in your very own thread. I have without a doubt people will start flaming you about this and that, stop complaining blah blah blah but thats not how it should be. On that note, Welcome to Day Z. If I had to give any advice to a new player it would be to keep your eyes open. Keep them open and watch everything. If you dont want to be the victim of these useless killings it would be in your best interest to know your surroundings as much as possible, this will end up letting you be the one to make the decision to kill or not to kill. Our group has been using this tactic for a couple of weeks and it has worked flawlessly. Some people will need help and some will deserve to die because of their actions....the choice is yours sir. Ok so after a nasty turn of events last night in the NWA (ended in me getting my head bl0wn off), I awoke this morning with a feeling of redemption >:(. I spawned down by the Krutoy Cap and had made plans to meet my buddy up by the NEA for shits and giggles (never anything there for me in my experience). I've been running through the woods and finally make it all the way up there, staying in contact with my buddy all the while, he says "Downed chopper!!" it ends up being crashed right outside of Krasnostav a little SW. I meet up with him and we loot the chopper to our content( leaving FN FAL and Bizon PP-19 SD behind) He ends up walking out with a L85 +2 mag and me an M249 +3 200Rnd belts. He makes it to the woods while I go over to the bushes and go prone to watch the chopper while our other buddy is making his way up from Solnichniy. I end up waiting and doing nothing but look at the chopper while he makes his way up there, he finally makes it and I tell him to crawl down to the chopper thinking I haven't seen anyone at all show any interest in the chopper when all of a sudden he hears a shot, close but not too close so he chills in some tall grass not moving while I scan the area for anything. Well turns out they saw the chopper from the West and started taking out zombies to make their approach. My buddy is still in the tall grass when I see two people, one in a ghillie with a silenced pistol drawn followed by his buddy carrying some sort of automatic rifle. While they are making their way to the chopper their path would have ran them into my buddy, they crouch and look around when I figure there is no time between now and when they find him so I decide to take the shot. I hit the first guy 6-7 times in the chest and make my way to shoot the other, the one in the ghillie, I pull and hit him 3 times...and he alt-F4's....... I love this game and I was pumped full of adrenaline when I took those shots, I made sure to be accurate and tactical the whole time just to be duped by some fool who was gonna die and didn't like it. All in all, im still pumped were geared like a son of a bitch lol

Some people are saying this is caused by barbed wire but I have had it happen to me in open fields, basically you can look in any direction but the direction of the glitch. Was in cherno last night and the only direction I couldn't look was South. This obviously has happened because of the last patch but what exactly is the issue here? It looks like these texture bombs just pop out of nowhere and make the game/area you are in unplayable. i7 2600k 16GB RAM GTX 580 Also has there been any comments by the devs as to what is going on?

I'm assuming if it came down to it, you could just use fraps to record it happening, extra leverage if needed.

How about you just make it so PvE servers aren't connected with PvP servers, seems to me the only reason for as PvE server is to loot the hell out of it and then DC and go to a PVP server? ya I dont think so.

I beleive in more than just the Bandit/Non-Bandit gameplay styles, I will kill someone just because they could be a threat to me in game. This game is based solely on survival. and my only goal is to survive, which is why even if you don't necessarily pose a threat to me, you're better off dead than alive in most cases. I have a lot of gear, gear that took me a while to gather so I take the shoot first position. especially if its someone in the north.

HAHA yeah no shit, let him give me the chance to shoot first.....I wont need to worry about him, or his clan again lol.
