Well, my buddy and I have been scoping out the NW Airfields and we were on a nighttime server. My buddy had NVG's so he could keep a better lookout than I could. Well on our return to the airfield we encountered a random bicycle in the woods..with dead zombies littered around. Well we follow this dudes trail of dead people all the way into the fire station where there is another 7 laying scattered around the building. Regular loot, got an AKM with like 7 mags but nothing too special. My group member kept a lookout while I went across the tarmac to the control tower, same thing dead zombies, no player. Around this time we were freaking out wondering where the fuck he is. All of a sudden he spots the guy crawling from bunker to bunker slowly making his way to the fire station...perrrfect :ph34r: . Im laying across watching him get closer and closer anxious to see what he has, once he got close enough we both fired at him and killed him instantly. Thanks to this fellow player we as a group are now stocked with: GPS, compass, 5 Morphine, 3 Antibiotic, another pair of NVG's and a nice ALICE pack for me to carry :D along with all of that he had another 6 AKM rounds for me...lol A big thanks goes out to War Hog in server US 819 for all the goodies.

So is an IP ban the highest level of a ban one can receive on the forums? This is for general curiosity and I am sorry if this isnt in the right section of the forum, please move it if necessary. Thanks, P1n

That's basically what I was getting at, a simple "Release/Renew" will effectively allow you back onto the server lol Thanks for your reply The only reason I post this is because I saw someone receive an IP ban and the person said they wouldnt be seeing him anytime soon, Got me thinking about how silly it is.

Yeah if they were to run straight and at a moderate speed it would be easier, hell I hope they put triple the amount of zombies in the game further on in development if they fix how the zombies aggro. Nobody likes looking to their left and seeing zombie Usian Bolt running after you lol

When i'm in the woods im either stalking someone or im the sniper for my group making sure nobody comes in while they're looting/give zed locations and such woods are friendly too, me and my buddy found a jeep and a GAZ like 3 miles from each other hope they were anyones :D even though i know they were muahaha

I don't know if this is a bug or what but when trying to place a weapon in my bag the weapon disappears and cannot be found. This happens when you have a pack big enough and with weapons in hand as well. I don't know if this can be fixed at this point or not but that bugs me because you find a cool gun and it just evaporates.

What are some of the hacks being used? and how do you expect them to combat hackers, they have more fundamental things to do with the game. The server operators should be responsible for the hackers at this point. Get an admin, ban them.

I get what he's saying, knowing your complete surroundings is better than trailing 5 zombies because lack of attention lol I've followed people too but never needed to shoot them, he had food water and weapons but it was easier to let him go , just remember, at any point in time you may be being watched. #Woods

I agree with that completely, Night time is tricky, you can't see anything but neither can they. flashlight is nice, not sure if zombies are attracted to it though but other players will see you so that sucks, flares work well also just make sure you know how hard you are throwing them or else you'll probably launch that baby lol. Good luck, turn the music up while playing at night and walk through the woods o.O

I don't think heatmaps or pathways should be shown at all, simply put, this is a survival game it would add an element that, in my opinion, would degrade the playability of the game as a whole. I'm a woods guy, I'll go directly inland to find small towns and weapons cache's that I can cycle through if need be. I don't need heatmaps to show how little traffic i get here or how much more traffic I get there because, like someone said previously its only for lazy people. P.S. My buddy was in Berezino, took a corner and was met with a bullet in the face lol I have only been up that way once and never made it in but it looked good lol

Get to barns for and deer stand for weapons and grocery stores arent bad.

Hello everyone, I am sporadically encountering an issue with my display/graphics settings. I'm playing in 3rd and at times when I look around or zoom in the image changes into something that resembles white triangles, it only happens sometimes but its extremely annoying because I cant see anything when it happens. I dont know if this a settings issue that I am having but I am currently running everything on the highest settings here's my setup: Core i7-2600k Asus Maximus IV Extreme NVidia GTX-580 It only happens a couple of times but its more annoying than anything, not usually effecting my gameplay. Thanks.

I would be pissed though if I had heard all of that then came to have you disconnect but I understand the move.

Yeah they pretty much do anything, saw one walk through barb wire, so pretty much assume they'll get through it

Dude I totally agree, this game as a whole is pretty difficult, not including having to duck other human players. Working as teams works so much better and meeting helpful people passing through helps a lot too lol. Its a long cold night out there sometimes, we just lookin for some frands. :D
