Well I got directed to this thread, when I bitched about how hackers are ruining this game, so here I am. Someone explain to me, how in the HELL does the game not keep track of who is running scripts on the server? That seems like the worst fricken design I have ever heard of. Also, VBS2 (Which is the military version of arma) DOES keep track of who killed who. I've played it.

My one question, is thus, SO apparrently a lot of these hacks are "scripts" run on the server right? How the HELL does the server not keep track or know who is running script son the server? Why do the server logs not keep track of who killed who? Why the hell is it so hard to manage/find hackers on Dayz servers? I just dont understand how you can make such a great mod with all these neat features, but be unable to keep track of when someone tries to run a script on your server.

I only play on the vet servers, which seem to be worse for hackers, because there are no name tags, so its pretty much impossible to report them.

Welp, and this is why I dont post on these forums, people are more concerned with spouting forum rules and flaming each other then actually bettering the game. This is why people feel the community is shit. Because anything you say on these forums/in this community gets needlessly picked at by all the assholes.

Why, how is bringing up a serious issue ruining the forums exactly? Considering you complain about the dayz forums going full retarded its suprising you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Well, considering thats in the "suggestion" area, I was probably not looking there, you would think an issue this serious would be on the main forum section.

You know the subsonic 22lr is just a 22lr short with only the primer in it right? pretty awesome really, but wouldnt work in any semi auto guns.

I was talking about the people that said "I dont think Rocket is wrong, he was in the military". ALso the subsonic .22 sucks, i doubt it could even go through the skull bone, I got shot in the leg with one once and it barely went 1/4 inch into my flesh. Are you guys seriously trying to say the Winchester 1866 is a shotgun? Good god, I'm sorry, but Rocket is wrong. Its a rifle. .44 Cal.(.45cal for the reproductions) The guy isn't perfect you know. He has made a lot of mistakes with the guns in this game.

Good thing this is alpha testing. And also good thing we now have some competition coming out. War Z and that other Zombie MMO Class 2.

In a real life scenario, 99.9% of you all would be dead because I am pretty sure you wouldn't be able to handle the situation. Your idea that we arent much more advanced then gorillas is wrong though. People don't go around killing each other like animals because we have been conditioned to think it is wrong.

It is what it is man. I would like to believe people would feel bad about killing other people, but I have seen that a lot of people are capable of some trully evil fucking things. I was in Baghdad in 2003 and we were "cleaning out" a torture chamber in one of Sadam's palaces. He had spilled so much blood in there the tiles were stained red. You think he felt bad about that? Nope. But guess what, Sadam was fucking bat shit crazy too. So maybe murdering people does mess with your head.

Most of you all are so full of shit it astounds me. Acting like you "know" how people should feel if they kill someone. Some people feel guilty, some people dont, but it always depends on the situation. I've killed several people. And in all the situations I did so it was to protect myself or those around me. And while I feel a slight twinge of guilt, I am not all broken up over it. Am I right in the head? Maybe not, a lot of folks say I lack empathy, or I am cold or heartless. But even having actually killed people before, I can tell you that it does effect your body in physical ways, the adrenaline rush, the fear. What I can say is it got easier to pull the trigger ever time you had to do it again. So maybe there is a physcologocal price to be paid for killing people.

Well, I DO think that some sort of humanity element added to the game would be neat. Even if you kill people in self defense, humanity would still be a factor. But this game is in such an early alpha stage who knows what is going to happen.

Well, just to add my thoughts (And honestly I should get back to work, since I am working right now) I really didnt like that Rocket removed the bandit skin. Maybe its because i played UO a lot but I enjoyed the fact that I could see if you were a murderer or not.

Yeah, thats the truth, for sure. I dont mean you specifically btw. But good lord some of the people who post here are dumb. I mean like super dumb. It's like SWTOR forums x10.

I dont really waste my time reading message boards all day, so i probably havent seen his other threads, but when I do come to these boards and read whats going on, all i see is senseless flaming against people a lot of times for what are honest legitimate complaints. I dont care about this guy and his car being stolen, I just thought i would pipe in here and say "Well, yes "Monster" this community is pretty bad. Nothing personal, just giving an opinion.

Heh, you know I almost never post on this board, and I havent been around Dayz long, but in the week or so that I have been playing it, this community is pretty horrible. Some of you guys are just straight up retarded or assholes.

I was with the group. Nobody was cheating. Trust me, if we were cheating we wouldnt have gotten our asses whooped when we went to the airport later. One of us was dismounted and spotted you from another area probably.
