I agree with stacking arrows, maybe up to 5. Not 20, that's just to much. I don't think food should stack, I like the idea of you only have so much space in your bag. As for what zombies should and should not be able to do. I don't understand where you get this idea of what zombies should be limited to. Let me remind you zombies are not real, every novel / movie / game has their own interpretation of what zombies do and how they act. In the movie I am Legend, the zombies started to learn. In Resident Evil the zombies where dumb as f*ck. I like the fact that the zombies can open / close doors and the fact that they can climb. Adds a little more challenge to the game. And that's always good.

I like the idea, but I think its way to complicated for a zombie mod.
-
I would have to agree. I think its just an Arma II limitation, hopefully its thought through a little more with Arma III.

Yea something simple like if they haven't respawned yet, you can use the defibrillator on the player.
-
I would love to see something like this, maybe with a defibrillator; 35% chance of reviving a player.

Agreed. But' date=' as I have said in another post this current patch [1.7.1.5'] is WAY to easy. I disagree with bringing back starting weapons. Hatches spawn like everywhere, get one.

A quick easy fix for spawning in debug plains
disturbd replied to Zosso's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Spawning in debug isn't a problem. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, this I can assure you. -
This would cause so many more problems. IMO. I think nothing should be cross server. The cross server aspect of this game / mod is killing it.

So I have been running around in my ghillie suit the past few days and have noticed that my vision hasn't gone down at all even though I look like a bush with it on. My idea is that when a player puts on a ghillie suit my vision bars should go down one MAYBE even two. I personally don't see any issues with this due to the rarity of ghillie suits. Plus it will give ghillie suits an actual function outside of PvP. If anyone likes the idea please bump the post. If anyone can foresee any problems with it please post so that we can refine the idea.

Thanks for all the positive replies and votes.

I am still having problems pitching a tent in game. I was reading the change log for 1.5.8.3 and it said this was supposed to be fixed. Just wondering if anyone else if still having this issue.

I have been a long time WoW player(Since vanilla). Having progressed through each expansion and experiencing first hand the negative affects of Blizzards changes to the game, I have noticed a huge down turn of any compassion and team work when performing 5 man heroic runs. This is due to what is known as lfg (looking for group). Back in the old days of WoW if you wanted to run a dungeon you would have to assemble a group together from your server. If you where to ninja(steal) or perform sub par, it would usually get around the server and ruin your name on that server community. Now with the addition of cross server LFG you will be randomly added to a group of people who you are likely to never see again after the dungeon run. You may be asking what does this have to do with Dayz. Well it was the anonymity of the cross server lfg that had an effect on the compassion and good manor of people. People just felt that, "Hey I will never see this person again so who cares". I feel that if each server had a different character instance, it would build a community on each server and each player would have their own reputation to uphold on that server. Other pro's: I personally would play more. Reason behind this is because I have to much to risk playing by myself right now, I wait for at least one other clan mate to be on. If I could go on another server I would not have to worry about loosing all my stuff. Server hopping. I don't think its right to be able to server hop for supplies. If what your looking for is not there you should have to walk to the next city. I feel this adds more realism to the game. Just my thoughts on the topic feel free to add your own. Please bump if you like the idea, and if you don't like it please let me know why.

Bumping....

That is a good point' date=' while running I don't think it should help. But Razzmatazz made a good point. I agree. I think the ghillie suit should only lower your visibility when you're not moving. But even standing I think it should lower the visibility one level due to the fact zombies are supposed to have poor eyesight, so I would assume that they may just think your a tall bush or something. (My point being you don't look human with a ghillie suit on thus making it harder for zombies to identify you)

If you like my idea below please bump this post. As most of us know the amount of zombie spawns has increased everywhere. I do like the amount of zombies in the urban cities. It makes sense to have more zombies in large cities. But in rural areas like farms and such I think the zombie spawn rates should be dropped back down to what it was. It follows the idea of in the rural areas there are less people, so there should be less zombies. Having large amount of zombies in higher populated areas(major cities, air fields) and have less zombies in less populated areas(farms, small towns). This would allow for players that have recently spawned either from death or just first time on a server to obtain better weapons then a pistol from small towns or a farm. Now that the user have a shotgun or a rifle they can attempt to enter a major city for more advanced items. This allows you to have better and/or higher spawn rates of weapons / items in major cities due to the greater difficulty. If anyone has any ideas to add to this or can see any flaws please post so that we can help approve upon this great mod.

Glad to see its not just me. And now that this is a known issue it can be dealt with by the dev team.
