Hell no the only way i would consider 1st person only would be if they removed the shaky camera. i get headaches when the camera shakes like that. i wish it could be more like a unreal tournament kind of camera. shaky camera makes the game unplayable for me.

does anybody know if you will have to take shits in the standalone?...after so many cans of beans

i spawn in elektro church, theres another guy, i shoot and miss 3 times because of the horrible fps drop in the city but i still hit him once with a winchester and then be aborts and disappears. seconds later, 2 players come straight in the church and know exactly behind which corner i am. one of the guy looks exactly like the one i shot before. they kill me. i spawn on the far east side of the map. i run north for 30 minutes. constant low fps, constant lag. i finally get to krasnostav and find a car, i crash it because of the fucking fps drop and there is a guy who shoots me and i die. thats 30-40 minutes of gameplay that : - wasnt fun - 90% of the time was running - loot did not always appear in barns and other buildings - zombies end up running faster than you and hit you from 10 meters away - you bleed, gotta bandage but the zombies run in zigzag and are hard to shoot due to 10-15 fps - stiff controls - stiff movements - lag - low ass fps that i have NEVER had i any other game why the fuck does this game have to be like that? fuck this alpha mod its not worth it. theres too much shit everywhere. why do i have to run 15-20 minutes everytime i die? which happens very often due to combat logging, hackers, hackers, hackers. fuck the standalone if its the same bullshit like the fucking lag, fps drop and retarded spawn points that are far from everything, then i wont buy it.

im started playing again a few days ago but im losing interest fast. everybody shoots on sight and i got tired of losing my stuff. the worst thing in DayZ is that you spend most time running than playing the game. i dont see anything fun about running for 15 minutes just to get to cherno and get sniped.

i found a car and 2 other people helped me repair it. we finally get it rollin and we start looting. after a while they stop, ask me for food. i get out and drop food and they kill med, take all my shit and get away with the car i found. my homie told me once dont you trust them other suckers they fought like they yo homies but they phony mother fuckers

i read in another thread that the standalone will have super customization. the question is: will i be able to dress like a thug, str8 ballin in cherno with my 44?

then go vote "game" on the poll thread. what i am saying is that DayZ is NOT a simulator, its a game. if anybody thinks it is a simulator then they should agree that the features i proposed in my other post have to be included in the standalone. 1. im sure 10 000 years ago, cavemen still masturbated. why would it be different now? 6. every living creature (as far as i know) has to take shits. 7. if this is a simulator, you have to simulate the impact events have on your characters mind. its a game so you dont care but "he" does. thats why your character will be forced to suicide if you dont play right. 8. you can fall hurt yourself, who knows, not everybody is the same. 9. humans gotta sleep. they dont disappear when they sleep right? so to make the simulator more realistic, everytime you log out, your character takes a nap. if you dont play for too long, he will die of starvation. 14. i know its stupid but have to keep it real no? i dont see why these features should not be in the standalone, since everybody seems to think its a simulator. what i want is a game tho, not a simulator. i think i failed but i tried to make fun of the points in my other post, pointing out the things people do in real life, because, why would you play a game thats like real life? i play game to waste time and not deal with all the boring shit that happens everyday in my boring life.

will we have statistics in the standalone that will count the number of shits you taken?

no the health system is fine as it is now compared to the changes you suggest. what i suggest is that health automaticly regens to the point where you stop fainting and have to watch that retarded hourglass which sometimes lasts for 2 minutes.

please change the spawn locations so they are closer to the cities!

id say slightly too hard because the penalty for death is way too high. what i mean is that some spawn locations are way too far from any major city and you have to run about 20 minutes. for example: when you spawn on the far west side of the map and you gotta run 15 minutes to reach balota airfield and another 5-10 to reach cherno.

i teamed up with 2 guys who decided to backstab me but i ended up killing them anyway, we had a blue car and plenty of stuff after looting several places. i take their stuff and put it all in the car and just when im done and about to get food to heal, i lose connection i think because of server restart. i want to know what happens when server restarts, how much time its offline and how do i rejoin the same server. plus id like to know what happens to vehicles after a server restart. thanks

ok i found the same server in the list but when i try to join it, it says Connecting Failed. could it be that i got banned for no reason? the server is still running since i can see the number of players in it changing. whats going on?
