getting killed and spawning on the far west side of the map is never fun.

after i finally found a solution to get an acceptable fps in cities, i found out that there is almost nothing to do in DayZ I kill somebody and loot his body then somebody else finds me and shoots me in the back. i now have to run 20 minutes to get to either elektro or cherno and try to pvp more. i feel its not worth the effort of running 10-20 minutes to get to the city then find a gun when there are hackers with the best sniper with thermal vision, night vision and a ghillie suit camping on roofs that have no ladders and that you cant reach normally. i tried going to the airfield once, found good guns. but i got bored so i tried to find people to kill. i end up getting sniped from 1km away. so yeah now that i finally found out how to increase fps, theres nothing to do.

try setting obect quality to very low in the graphic settings it helps ALOT

i just think taking the time to gather all that stuff, set up a camp and tents, gather plenty of stuff, find a vehicle, bring it to your camp and bla bla bla is not worth it. whats the point in gathering stuff if you dont do anything with them? all there is in this game is PvP. but its so painful to die because it takes so much time to get your gear back. lets say there are no hackers in this game. you manage to get a sniper. what do you do? you camp for 10 minutes to get 1 kill? another 10 minutes and you get 2 kills? nah man i dont think its worth spending all this time for so little reward.

ok hackers are a problem but they could at least fix: -the lagging inventory -guns disappearing when you put them in your bag -artifacting -zombies glitching through walls -retarded glitches where you get teleported into the sea -unlootable bodies -bodies that wont disappear when you try to hide them -you hear flies but no bodies -items dont spawn -items disappear -when you log in and you have the same gear 10 minutes before you last logged out making you lose all the stuff you found 10 minutes before you last logged out i dont know if its fixable -fps drops because of laggy server and server desync this is not related to hackers, now why they dont fix this? alpha mod is not excuse for this game to be under the quality standards of a normal game.

The Server lag is just gamebreaking. i got shot by a bandit with a magnum in elektro church like 15 times and i shot him at least 10 times with my makarov in the head. none of us died and my screen was all white. suddenly i drop down and die like 5 seconds after that. he killed me before i emptied 2 mags in his face which took like 5 seconds. now how the fuck can this happen? to die but still move as if nothing happened and you dont know that you died? why didnt the bandit die after i shot him 10 times in the head? i was at 2 meters distance did i miss all my shots? no? i quit i wont play this trash until the damn lag is fixed with the incredibly low fps.

All you faggots say "well you know, even if its broken and theres hackers everywhere, its an alpha mod so its ok" well fuck, it has been several months now and : -still artifacting -still horrible inventory that takes 3-5 seconds to pick up stuff and responds only half the time. -inventory management is a pain -debug screen disappearing -humanity system is complete trash -it causes my game to freeze for 3-4 seconds because the skin change and i get eaten by zombies -my humanity is reset to 0 everytime i log in even if i had higher humanity -my humanity sometimes changes to -60k with 0 murders -items not spawning -items disappearing -guns disappearing if you put them in a too small bag -sometimes when you log in, the game lags and you have the same gear you had 10 minutes before the last time you logged off. this means: -losing bag -losing you gun -spawn in a different location and sometimes spawning compeltely on the other side of the map (happened once) -incredibly long loading times -bugs where you get teleported in the ocean (happend when i tried to put on civilian clothes while in firestation) -bugs where you spawn under a house(happened twice and did not die) -bugs where you spawn on the coast and lose all your stuff exept equiped weapons(happened once) - MAJOR FLAW: you can still hear the fucking flies for fucking an hour after you hid someone's body. what the fuck why would you hide someone's body if you can still hear the flies? plus its so annoying hearing that BBZZZ ZZZZZ ZZZ ZBZ ZZ -zombies hit you from far away -server desync even if the broken chain icon does not appear -fps drop in the city -server lag causes HUGE fps drops -i empty a mag in some1's face, he looks at me, shoots me and i die and he lives (happend around 6-7 times) -people die standing up -glitches where you cant loot dead body -glitch where you have to wait 10 minutes after you gut an animal to be able to check his gear(happens everytime) -zombies seeing you from incredible range while you run in from of others and they dont see you. AND ON TOP OF THAT THERES HACKERS EVERYWHERE! fuck no its not ok. your telling me that all this shit is acceptable because its an alpha and a mod? fuck that until this shit gets fixed i wont bother playing this piece of trash hacked game.

fact: Arma 2 costs money fact: the game is also overrun by hackers fact: it is not worth playing anymore if you like the game how it is, fine. exacly. and im not saying everyone should care, but it seems everyone does. im just saying why. think what you want i dont care it WAS a great free mod at first, but when you start playing more you it gets annoying. i wasnt expecting the game to lag like that on EVERY fucking server i join even those with 16 ping. this happened at least 5 or 6 times now. all those fucking details that ruin this game plus the low fps and desync makes this unplayable i know this is an alpha mod and im not crying over some shitty makarov but this happened when i had good shit on me. plus i gotta run fucking 20 minutes to get to the city and die again because of this games glitches and bugs and lag and low fps. on top of that shit i gotta deal with laggy inventory system that works half the time and takes 3 seconds to pick up an item and just to have my guns disappear when i put them in my bag and sometimes the bag itself dissapears and im back to my shitty coyote bag. and when i still play and try to ignore all ths shit i get teleported and killed by a hacker. this is an alpha mod but it still sucks. please fix your shit i want this game to be good too.

its a mod ok but its not worth playing with all this bullshit. this isnt the first time that this happened and being an alpha mod is not an excuse. bring quality or dont bring anything at all.

yes i got have good internet connection. i played BF3, ME2 and ME3 and everything was all well. i had maxed setting exept AA and was running with 30-40 fps worked really well.

i was upstairs in a house with my AKM pointing at the door. when a dude with a camo suit appeared and shot me before i could even shoot once!!! the cause is that i have 10-15 fps in the city and i tried everything i found to increase fps but nothing works. it ALWAYS lag in the city even in a server with 5 people in it. now i know that server lag causes fps drop but every server i join make my fps drop in the city. it seems strange that i get 15 fps when i look at the city and get 40+ when i turn around. im starting to get pissed because i get killed no matter what i do because i cant react fast enough because of this lag. i have nvidia geforce gtx 460. i tried disabling threaded optimization, setting everything on high, on low, tried balancing both. i never had these kind of problems with other games and played stuff like Mass effect1,2,3 on very high settings. if any has a solution for the fps drop in the city please post it here. thanks

i got killed by 2 dudes with hacked stuff and hero skin once. so i will probably try to kill you.

so i got killed by a dude with a machine gun with a bypod or something in elektro i then spawn east of cherno and i get killed by a guy that looked exactly the same with the same gun 5 minutes after he killed me in elektro hacking? if so please you really need to fix hacks this kills the game when there are so many hackers.

another must is that you should be able to choose which mag you use so you dont end up with 5 mags with 5-6 bullets each

hi i often feel like running or crawling sideways is faster than running in front of you. As it seems every survivor would beat world record in a 40km marathon, maybe they have an idea at which speed they are running since they have alot of experience in the matter. also i would find it useful to know really how fast a vehicle is compared to running. + knowing the speed difference between running and sprinting, etc. maybe add it as an option if you do/dont want it on your screen. thanks

it would be a good idea to combine mags, i hate having 4 mags with 5-10 bullets in each. but it would alo be weird to find x2 bullets and you can put those 2 in a mag opposed to where you can easily find 3 full mags with an ak on the ground. + another good addition to your suggestion would be to make it possible to throw away that mag with only 1 bullet without having to throw away all your other 3 mags and then pick up only the 3 full mags. but then if you find bullets that go in that mag, you wish you kept it. i think it would add a little more depth to inventory management but without it being boring because its not a lame task but a choice to keep the empty mag or drop it for space. +1

hi i killed some dude who ran into me and it said Bandits killed: 1 i did not get a murder for this just a bandit kill. whats the difference and how can you tell who is a bandit and who is not? thanks
