The serverjumps caused by nighttime on the server can be avoided by using the dayzcommander. in this tool you can not only see whats turned on/off on the server, but you can also see the actual time on the server. this is a nice tool to be used after updating the game with the six launcher. @Topic: I am for a general 30 seconds delay on logout. AFAIK this is difficult to be built in. I think, Rocket said something like this but I don't remember well. -
I am for a starter pistol with 1 or 2 clips. Reimplement this, Rocket - please!

Hello People. I think that the Player should be rewarded more for killing the Infected. They should have more random Loot including Food and Drinks and Bandages. Maybe even Morphine. Now the Situation is very disappointing and you have no Advantage by killing Zombies. Do you agree with me? Whats your Point of View?

No one said, they don't want PvP. OK, some People, but thats not most of Players. The Point is that there should be a Kind of Punishment for Playerkillers. We all do not want to see PvP go away completely. -
You have good Ideas with the different Servers and such. I am Playing in a small Group (3 People, me included), but most of the Time we try to regroup, but thats not easy. In most Cases we are killed before we can go into Formation, before we can regroup. And even with 3 People we have a hard Time. No, as it is, DayZ is too difficult for me. I have understood the Behaviour of Infected, thats not the Problem. The Problem is, that we die not because of PK's but because of dehydration and that Kind of Things. Hunger. You know what I mean.

This is going in the right Direction. There should be a Penalty for Player-Killers. You have my Beans, as I find the idea great. Especially hearing Gunshots could be funny. But the Percentage of the Penalty should be higher. 20% of Chance triggering Event while have killed 5 Players. I don't expect DayZ to become a Social Platform, but Player-Killing should not be normal. In most Cases Players shoot first and ask Questions - never. This should not be normal and I am for a harsh Penalty to make the Player more paranoid, as you stated in your Post up there. -
First Aid Kits and all what belongs to that, Food and Supplies and even Ammunition sometimes. The Game doesn't have to be that hard as it is now, does it?

Even Civilians can take Precaution before being infected. A Bandage or Morphine carried isn't uncommon in that Case. Drinks, too. But that is my Point of View. But what I really want is the Zombies to have more Loot in General. I think this would keep the Game realistic and also provide a Lot of Fun to the Player while beind rewarded for Killing Infected.

Seeing this as a Modder, for Balancing-Reasons cooked Meat should give 800hp and raw Meat only 200hp. It should be a Challenge and more difficult to get more Blood from Animal-Meat. I don't like the Idea of being diseased by eating raw Meat.

Hello People. I have noticed, that it is too easy to steal from other Players. All you need to do is get close to a friendly Player and then you can loot him without him noticing that. I am for a Popup-Message saying: Do you want to Trade? Yes/No. Each time a Player tries to steal Stuff. I mean, its realistic, when the stealing Player is behind me, but Players in Front of me should not be able to steal my Stuff. What do you think? Ah, and no, I didn't found any Topic by searching in the Forum. That surprises me, really. It's an important Topic and a Problem for everyone playing DayZ.

Thanks. I didn't knew that. So we have to face all the CoD-Kiddies with no Chance of playing on a PvE private Server. That sucks, really. But if this are the Rules, it are the Rules

But the Spots of the Goodies should be random, too. Else it's only another Place in the Game where a Sniper or an Enemy-Group of Players is waiting for some Noob to appear. I don't know, how much "Randomness" is possible in the Game. But in General I agree with you: There can't be enough Goodies in the Game :)

I don't think it would be easy to import L4D Zombies in DayZ. Not spoken yet of Copyright Reasons. And the AI of the current DayZ Zeds is quite good, compared to L4D. Only the Animations could be better. I could sit the whole day in Front of my Screen and watch the weird Behaviour of the Zombies in DayZ. That's what I like about DayZ - it's a Mix of the Games Fallout3 and Stalker. The Zombies just fit fine with their AI. I don't want the L4D Zombies in the Game. And, that has already been said, the AI of DayZ's Zombies is more sophisicated than in the Game L4D. 2 different Games, 2 Ways of having Fun.

How about this idea for stopping players from disconnecting?

I think, 30 Seconds of Waiting for Disconnect should be enough. I do not want to have to wait for 2 Minutes to disconnect. But I see the Problem, when Players get into "Trouble" and they "cheat" just by logging out quickly. I also think, there has to be done something to remove this Kind of Cheating. -
I play in 16:9 / 1280x720 Pixel and I have problems using my Inventory the right way. Most of the time I can't right klick Items, because they are under the Statistics Field. I have to drag my Inventory way to the left, then right klick e.g. a Bandage and then I am able to use it. But it doesn't works with the standard Position of the Inventory Screen. It's quite a Problem for me when Timing is essential. Maybe someone could do something here, please? The more I play DayZ, the more Fun I have, but this is really annoying me.

So, I had my 3D Resolution at 100% and my Screen Resolution at 1280x720x32. I just have chosen 1280x720x32 again and had to restart the Game. IT WORKS NOW! Just for all People with the same Problem: Set 3d Resolution to 100% and choose your Screen Resolution again, then restart the Game. The Interface is now scaled correctly and also the Options for my Gear are accessible now easy. I just love it when something works just fine. -

Thanks for your Postings. But it is the Statistics Window that blocks me from klicking the Options of my Gear. If it could be turned on and off I wouldn't have any Problems. Is that possible? -
Hello People. What do you think of decreasing the hunting Time of enemy Zombies when unarmed. Means, that they won't follow the player so long. The Zombies are hunting me for a ridiculous long time and also long range. So unarmed players would get at least a chance of getting a weapon sometime and not being eaten alive every start of the Game. This would be a relatively easy if...then... script and should be easy to be intergrated in the Game. Remember: I only want a shorter hunting Range for unarmed Players. If you have a Weapon, it stays at it is in the Moment. What do you think about it? Especially new Players are experiencing such Problems, that Zombies don't loose Track of the Player.

I agree with most People here that it makes the Game too easy. And there is the Opportunity to hunt Cows and Goats, and that should be enough to regain Blood. As silly as it sound: But DayZ can be a Multiplayer Game! So finding Someone giving you the Transfusion is not impossible.
