30 fps is not bad really but you could open the task manager and right click operation arrowhead and set prioriry high and check processor availability if its not using all the cores ^^

Go back to windows 7 then, problem solved. -
I definetly don't hack and got it yesturday once for the first time, there were also other people getting the error (50% on the server was kicked atleast once because of the error). I got it the same time as zombies spawned near a crash site and the "symptoms" for this error are fps dropping down to 5-6 and like 5 sec later you're kicked : P

I bet you cheated! Or you gave your key away which is very stupid. -
You will do fine but i always recommend downloading fraps for checking your fps and tweaking your settings for optimal performance as it makes alot of difference, dont use anti aliasing, shadows and post process etc. Im not sure about your processor but it seems like it will run the game decently since it is a dual core 2.6 ghz ^^

dude i have a laptop i7 2.2-3.10 ghz processor (with turboboost), 8gb ram, GT540m and i get 30-40 fps in cities, 27-30 in cherno if its a bad server that hasn't been restarted, although i have tweaked my nvidia settings alot : P

The camo facepaints don't show up in the profile menu but they are availible if you go to documents/arma2/yourprofilename and scroll down to face and type in "Face04_camo4" etc. All faces are available here http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA_2:_CfgIdentities :)

Use DayZ Commander and install the custom maps easily from there

Or you can rewind to 1.7.3. Singleplayer is unlocked but only dayz items work, meaning you can only use the editor or armory etc ^^

The problem is your gpu, intel 4000 is not meant for gaming. I have a GT540M and a intel 4000 and i get like 18 fps on low settings in skyrim with the intel 4000 but 30-45 fps with the GT540M on medium-high settings and the newest drivers . However i think you should be getting more than 22fps with the Nvidia card : o -
