What's funny about that? Are you implying that gold plating affects the gun in any other way than aesthetics? I think you have no clue what a gun plated firearm is, or you're just trolling.

I hope you're joking? Gold is not a functional metal? It's not MADE OF gold, it's GOLD PLATED, which means there's a very thin layer of gold applied to the exterior metal parts. It doesn't affect function in ANY way, well maybe except for concealment.

I was only carrying an SKS when I got shot, the second pic is what I have RIGHT NOW. I'm carrying a second weapon to give it to a friend, I'm not going to war I never shot anyone before getting shot at EVER. It's not like it changes anything, I used to go around looking like this... ...and still get KOSed even though I was going out of my way to look like a hero. Bandits don't care what you look like or what gear you have, they just shoot. Also where does it say I'm crying over gear? I was just saying that it took me less than an hour to gear up from being shot with the gear in the first pic and then having the gear in the second pic less than an hour after. I think you're mistaken me with OP.

The amount of time I really wanted to use a sporter rifle but had to ditch it because I find an SKS or Mosin way before I can get my hands on a sporter magazine. Totally unrealistic. Sporter magazines HAVE to spawn in residential areas or just remove them because they are utterly useless.

The game is still in ALPHA. Rolle the owner of DayZRP said he couldn't see DayZRP go to standalone in the next year or ever because of all that's lacking and not just private hives, whitelisting or mod support. You should know that if you are a member of DayZRP which I'm guessing you are not.

Most importantly I think doors need a sound. No need for an old cranky door sound, just a sound from opening and a door closing sound, would do great for immersion. Also would help tons for figuring out if you are alone or not in a town.

Last time I died I was fully geared with camo clothing, an SKS with PU scope and food/medical supplies in under an hour, without server hopping. Just go away from the coast. I actually have before and after pictures. This is what I had when I got killed. This is less than an hour later. In that second picture I have a scoped Mosin but I'm also holding an SKS in my hands in-game.

Wondering if this location is new or I just missed it before. Seems like it was newly implemented as the building have no collision detection yet.

I've had the same problem, and I tried more than 10 times. Every time the meat goes from raw to burnt. This was done on a portable stove with a pot.

I totally agree and also would like to have horses. Going around on a horse with a cowboy hat, having to care for another living creature, this would make DayZ epic.

You obviously don't play enough or don't even try to get healthy, because last time I got the healthy status was from eating about 5 cans of food and drinking 5 sodas. Last time I played about 2 days ago I got onto experimental and had the healty status 5 minutes into spawning. If you aren't eating and driking as much as you can whenever you find it, then it''s another story. People complain it's hard to achieve the status but they only eat and drink to remove the hungry and thirsty status, then keep food and drink in their inventory until they go hungry and thirsty again, that's just assinine.

If you're talking about AI in the DayZ mod, that's just there from Arma 2 itself. The mod developpers can't remove something that's hard-coded in the game the mod is derived from, lol? Also if you don't like the AI you can just not join servers that have AI? You know?

I have a camo Mosin and was rockin' an M4 with 3 mags on top of that for a while. In one session I found at least 3 more Mosins, another M4, about 4 SKSs and a double barrel shotgun. Even saw an elusive FNX magazine. I only play on populated servers because empty ones are boring. You might not think it but servers with people in them have more loot when you go past Electro because most people die closer to where they spawn and never make it that far. I guess we don't play on the same servers.

The devs want to emphasize on survival and tone down the military aspect of the game, I'm 99.99% there won't be any tanks in the game, maybe not even armored personel carriers.
