The server restared, you had played there for less than 30 mins I imagine, didn't log off until it happened, the hive never got to save your gear because of the restart. It happens, no one's fault and nobody can do anything about it.

Nope. One weapon on the shoulder, the other in hand. When you first log in a server the weapon in hand won't actually be in your hands but can be found under the backpack on the right inventory. As soon as you use an object or put something in your hands, the weapon in your hands will be dropped on the floor.

You have to raise your flashlight to hold it in front, just like you do with a weapon.

False. I carry an M4 on my shoudler and a Mosin in my hands all the time, when I change server I just have to press my Mosin hotkey to get it in my hands again, it's just under the backpack in the inventory. When I want to switch I put down the Mosin, then put down the M4, put the mosin on my back and then the M4 in my hands. If you put ANYTHING else in your hands though, you will drop the weapon. I don't see how it's an exploit to have an item in your hands.

Right now it's an alpha, so it's free for all grief KoS whatever you wanna call it. Kicking players for being bandits? It's against server management rules, DayZ IS a PvP game, you don't like that, go play MLP online.

I've joined that server may times, the rules appear lower left with the other messages when you join the server. It's the server's MotD.

I always carry an Acog + a red dot sight for my M4, switch when needed. Also, alcohol does desinfect wounds.

You paid to buy Arma 2. The DayZ mod is free. You didn't pay to play DayZ. If you want to play the real DayZ game, buy it. If you don't already like the mod, don't buy the current alpha, it's seriously lacking in features and will not be on par with vanilla DayZ for at least a year, so you can wait and save your money. The only good thing about buying DayZ right now is saving money down the line when the game goes full release.

Correct, you currently can only spawn from Electrozavodsk then going east and north following the coast all the way to Berezino.

To play Dayz SA for Mac, just right-click the shortcut and choose "I should have bought a desktop", easy.
