I killed 2 guys at the Electro school/office and one of the had an AS50, I had a Remington, I passed and hid the bodies. I think it's good only as a backup weapon in your backpack if you have the biggest backpack, as a primary at all times, it sucks.

Me and my team used to all play females to make it easier for us to recognize each other, I'm the only one who still haven't died and is still a female.

If you make a server private it gets blacklisted from the hive and no one can join it.

This wouldn't work. Imagine this scenario. Player A and B are playing together but not "friendly" to each other because they know each other IRL. They talk over a private communnication server (i.e. teamspeak). Player A goes scouting and encounters player 1. Player A requests a friendly invite to player 1 and he accepts. Then player A lures player 1 to player B's location and player B shoots player 1. Loot, rince, repeat.

Last Arma patch changed weapon damage, not a DayZ update, so the change has nothing to do with DayZ itslef and Rocket cannot do anything about right now..

Having a glock now is better than a m1911 if you can make proper headshots, I approve of this.

Yeah a lot of people don't know about this feature, I once logged into a server where there was three markers at the NW airfield and they were saying stuff like "meet here", "get this here" and " I have a car due south from here to stuff loot". I wrote next to the markers "go here if you wanna die" and "I went to the NW airfield and all I got was this lousy marker".

That happened to me twice, both times I spawned back as if I had died. I'm thinking that it happens when you log out in a spot where the server thinks you are in collision with the environment, like a tree, a tent, a rock or some other feature of the surrounding terrain. For me it happened when I had logged out near a tent and trees and the other time I was prone behind a counter in a grocery store, both times I had stuff very close to me.

Like he said, but you better start getting used to first person, they're removing 3rd person from DayZ very soon.

Yesterday, respawned yet again because I got killed by bandits, again, and make my way to one of those long buildings in the distance. Inside find only a crossbow and 2 bolts, aggro a Z, lose one bolt killing the Z, can't find it, I'm down to one. I need supplies fast. See one guy start entering the far side of the building, he sees me, he probably just spawned he's got no weapon, starts running. I go after him and we both spot a barn in the distance, we're both trying to get to it first, he's got the upper hand, he runs up the stairs and gets a winchester while I unload my last bolt in his ass from below, HE LIVES. Now that I'm defenseless, I get out with him running at me screaming "Who's running now bitch?". I aggro a shitload of zombie, run back to the barn and go around/inside a dozen times running to get the aggro on him, last time I went around the barn I saw his body in the grass with 3 zombies munching at him. "Whos dying now bitch?". I was laughing so I hard I just died next to him cos I couldn't keep playing properly.
