I'm thinking a good fraction of them do it because they just lack the skill to actually play the game at all and so they take out their frustration by cheating so they can't be killed or have the best gear. The rest of them simply relish in the pain and tears of other players losing their hard-earned gear and stats, that is their main drive. In that respect they are identical to bullies. They do it because they can and it gives them a feeling of superiority, and they get away with it. But at the core they are really sad, anti-social, anguished and depressed people. When the only way you can feel good about yourself is to make other people feel bad, it's time for a serious psychological evaluation.

No. Ban appeal is for the server admin to read and decide wether he sould unban you or not based on your appeal. This does not involve in any way te DayZ staff.

Your DayZ "account" or rather the data about your character in the hive is bound to your ArmaII CD key. Therefore if you sell your game the person buying it will inherit your character and anything he had the last time you played.

You cannot have currency without goverment. In a post-apocalyptic world where zombies are STILL rampant and no form of government is present, any kind of currency is useless. Bartering takes precedence, and scavenging becomes the #1 job on the planet.

Hai gaise. So I just started playing DayZ, I'm running around town and everything is pretty cool except I keep running into zombies and when I press left mouse to attack it does nothing. Do I need to find a weapon or something like that, or can this be fixed somehow?

So you want a ban reversal from a server admin who banned you because you killed him, and you think he hacks. Tell me again WHY it would be a good idea to go back to play on that particular server?

You need to buy the Private Military Company DLC for the survivor skin to have high resolution textures, and the British Armed Forces DLC for the Ghillies suit and Camo Clothing.

Only senior NCO's and Officers will be allowed to be on voice activation. Somehow my teamspeak does not pick up any "push-to-talk" key in any of the games that I tried, so I have to use voice activation.
