Leave the video memory on default it allows dayz to use as much or as little is needed. As for AA even if you have a supper powered PC with dual Graphics cards I still wouldn't turn that up much beyond the first or second settings its a resource hog always. Try disabling it or turning it down a good bit.

Nice graphics card. Can you let us know if the problem is on every server or is this on one particular server you are playing on. Also can you take a screen shot of the Video options you have set in game so we can see what you are trying to run.

The zeroing taking 3-5 seconds is not practical the chance to snipe someone is generally a very small window unless there standing still in inventory or sniping themselves. Basically adding this animation you suggest is a way for you to try and stop snipers all together if you have ever tried sniping even zeroing the way it is takes time as you have to jump out of scope mode go into rangefinder and jump back into scope mode again. Yes you can set an area you are looking towards and try and remember 10 to 20 different distances based on different objects but that's down to people being quick and having a good memory. So I would think that sniping is quite decent at the moment. I generally don't get killed by a sniper unless im standing still looting and now a days i know where the snipers hid and what they can see so I will just run through these areas and they will rarely ever hit me a few have come close bullet impacts in the dirt around me but nothing to threatening.

So your suggesting a cover up or a file and forget approach no this is not the solution. This is a problem that happens in almost every game that is online. I have encountered a few hackers not a whole lot maybe been killed 4 times in my total time of playing and I play often. The problem isn't as bad as I see everyone here complaining about maybe you have been unlucky or like to stick to high pop servers but I have only been thunder domed once met one invisible hacker yes I have seen quite a few hackers creating weapons and vehicles but have not been killed by them. I think it would harm the game more if you joined the game got killed by hackers and when you posted in the forums about it you just got locked and ignored. That's would exclude and anger players more what the mods are doing right now is perfect taking proof acting on it locking whine threads and in the background the devs are working on solutions not to mention battleye working to ban as many as they can. While your thinking in the right way save the mod and the standalone your approach in my opinion is wrong.

I am feeling less and less inclined to help you the more you post. Yes i noticed the fact that you said you where connecting with a router at no point did you tell us if the router was fine. What types of checks did you perform or are you assuming your net connection and router are fine because you can play youtube videos ? Are you able to play perfectly well when only one of you connect ? I am not sure if you are aware of this but Dayz does take quite a bit of bandwidth to play so two people connecting on a 3mb connection wont work at all. You want at least 8mb if not more to play smoothly. Like most people you purchased ARMA to play this mod but that does not give you the right to complain and give out about it. You didn't buy Dayz you bought ARMA Day'z is still just a free mod. From the little more you described of the problem it seems you may have an outdated beta version or an outdated dayz version but primarily it sounds like a connection issue. If you could fill out the following information it would be ever so helpful in identifying the problem. Well let me first begin to congratulate you on a nonsensical wall of text rage, it is quite beautiful and did in fact fill me with an instant dislike of you as a person. Now with the pleasantry out of the way let me begin by trying to help you a little. Firstly no there is no problem with multiple people joining form the same IP address it just sounds like you have a slow internet connection or a slow dodgy router please tell me what speed your connection is and I can advise you if this is the problem. As for your router are you connecting via wireless if so expect connection issues and when was the last time you restarted it. Secondly some servers can take ages to join normally these are high populated servers as this is a free game a free mod and makes no money for the developers they have decided to leave it to the community to host servers so some of those servers can be a little slow at times but you should appreciate everyone of them that is online. Why you may ask because people are paying good money for you to be able to play a game. Generally you can find low pop servers with a decent ping that will connect very fast the usual servers i connect too take almost no time to connect too. Thirdly yes the game has bugs its an ALPHA if you dont know what that is take a look here http://en.wikipedia....g#Alpha_testing that explains what alpha testing is LOTS OF BUGS LOTS OF PROBLEMS but its voluntary you don't have to play it and again here i remind you this is free. Dayz standalone is coming out before the end of the year so why not wait for that I gaurntee it will be way better the warz which so fat has yet to deliver anything to prove there claims of an amazing game and from what they are posting about the game it seems it will be another wow clone with a dayz skin on it.

Can you take a screen shot of your current in game settings and describe more when and where the fps problem happens and I will try and resolve the issue with you ? Also take a screen shot of the System and Display tab of the DxDiag tool you can get this up by holding the windows key and pressing R then in the run box type Dxdiag
