Depends on how much you value $30? If you're a person who tends to be somewhat optimistic and make the most of his expenditures I don't see it as a bad purchase. Dabble in the original game a bit, spend time mastering DayZ and ultimately finding an end-game plan whether that be joining a group/ becoming a medic/ etc. I think you can easily spend enough hours on the game to make it a fair purchase. It is pretty buggy though. Expect a little bit of frustration if you aren't very easy-going.

With the gear you had, you may as well get yourself killed. Then, I would suggest hitting up Berenzino first thing! It's a city way up on the northern coast and is usually vacant. Make sure you look in the boxes in hospitals. I used to think they were just random objects, lol. They are actually filled to the brim with goodies. Good luck!

When you find a map, if the server's settings permit it, shift+click is how you set a waypoint. This is very useful. I hope that this corrupt world does not corrupt you. Good luck!

I think it needs to be confirmed as to whether or not zeds will walk while inside buildings. This would influence many peoples' decision I believe.

Well, my desire to have such a lovely candle depends on two factors. The first one, what is the scent of said candle? The second being, what is the effect on the zeds mood? Also, I could be down for some torches. Preferably scented.

My clan had this happen. The chopper was in perfect condition at the last point it was saved. -
View it as a Life / DayZ achievement. It would be called "Invited to Thunderdome," or "Welcome to the Party." Hopefully, you can use this technique to make your experience more palatable. :)
