I'd imagine in the $15 - to $30 range. Trust me, if you like the game enough, it'll be fine. Not to mention you could log onto some of these pay-to-whatever websites and make that much money in a month or less, easy. Also, if you have a family you can easily get the game from their money they send to you on your birthday or Christmas. I understand you most likely bought Arma 2 entirely to play DayZ, like myself, but people like money. We should really be concerned about big oil companies and what they are doing to our wallets.

I'm not too angry or frustrated with people who shoot on sight/ or those who make a life out of hunting other plays. BUT what does frustrate me is people who pretend to be friendly and then backstab.... seriously, like.... what kind of fucked up person?

I didn't want to "derail" this discussion, I was arguing with a person who already had. It isn't naive for me to think that most SANE people woudn't do this in real life. Find a high-powered sniper somewhere up north, travel all the way down to the coast, and spend all of your ammo murdering people you don't know. Murdering people who could be on their way to get supplies for their family they left back at camp. Murdering people with a weapon which if it's anything like The Walking Dead would attract hordes upon hordes of zombies. No, I don't think it's naive to believe this is ridiculous. My initial argument was directed towards a character defending and saying this type of behavior was REALISTIC. Which is why I firmly believe anyone who is responding to me right now is mistaken. I must not be conveying myself properly. I'm arguing that in a real life apocalypse sitting outside of Cherno and sniping people isn't realistic. You wouldn't chill outside of a large city wasting all of your ammo on murdering people because they MIGHT one day find you and kill you. A security the nation has PAYED to have protect the country from threats which are actually KNOWN. lol okay? You missed what I was trying to explain. He was basically (due to the context of this thread) defending the snipers on the coast saying it would be practical in real life. Nobody would sit along the large coastal cities and shoot other people to prevent a potential threat. If they were truly that scared of other people they would try and flee from civilization not run back to it.

Isn't it needless risk, (if we're talking real life), to lay down next to an incredibly large city and shoot an incredibly loud gun? I wouldn't use the argument you just presented anymore.

I was running away from two players and told them in side-chat if they kept chasing me I'd be forced to kill them. I waited in a bush and they stopped like right in front of me and said "he went this way." Then I unloaded a magazine into one of the players from my pistol, killing him. I then ran off into the sunset, while they claimed I alt+f4'd after the kill. I did not! Anyway, that was my first real PvP experience and my adrenaline in this game has never reached even close to that level.

It may be that I just woke up from a nap and am disoriented but... wtf did you all just argue about?
