As far as I know, you only get negative humanity for murders and no positive humanity for bandit kills. Only for things such as bandaging/ transfusing someone will make it positive. So if you had killed him, in theory your humanity should remain as is. Don't quote me on that. Humanity is a pile of shit really. I am on -300k as it was apparently logging the whole time I've been playing this game.

I know that there is an anti-hack that instead of restricting scripts it knocks you unconscious permanently... interesting.

Sometimes equipping a new 'skin' will remove your backpack or 'refresh' it to the original coyote backpack. Safest bet is to drop the backpack first and then equip the skin! Is that something that could've happened?

Exactly... this whole identification idea is null and void if you have a Ghillie Suit or a Camo Outfit... I went around on my Hero skin and I still got shot at by everything in sight... just remove it, it's pointless... the Bandit skin anyway. If you want to have the Hero skin, which isn't half bad than the towel around your face... then sure, I can see why... but... just remove it.

M14 aim trumps the FAL. The FAL is one of the worst guns really... unless you find the NVG scoped one and even then... i'd take the M14 over it.

Watch something using VLC with 'always on top' enabled or a 2nd monitor! I don't think there is an auto-run function in DayZ/ Arma 2, you can macro something on a keyboard/ mouse to HOLD down the W key... but of course, tabbing out will cancel that.

pretty sure this is common knowledge... it is also not 100% reliable and sometimes makes it worse. The best thing to fix any tearing is to completely restart the game.

Then sure, that's fine... but then, what do you do when a hacker joins your server and rages all over you... You ALT+F4 to get out quick... but oh wait, the change that you implemented means you lose all your shit. Are you willing to accept that? I see more hackers than people that quit using ALT+F4 mid-combat.

The ALT+F4 escape, is not easy to fix... so stop suggesting silly methods of trying to fix, the unfixable. Either get an AS50, or aim for the head... even if that happens, when someone DIES then can STILL ALT+F4 and not be dead due to desync... The only way your idea will work is if the person PERSISTS in the world for 20 seconds after they have quit out the game... good luck doing that.

If a hacker arrives, drop what you are doing and press ESC, then ALT+F4... don't hang around, unless you want to derp around in the Thunderdome of course.

It has very little to do with the PC you have, it is simply just luck of the draw in respect to how much traffic is going to and from the 'Hive' at the point of you joining. Also of course, the server location/ ping plays a part as well.

They should make it a requirement to be honest, it'd stop a lot of the 'simpler' questions on the forum!

It's kill or be killed, that is how the game is. Don't play under a false pretense that someone will hug you and give you a blanket... as soon as you turn around, he will kill you. I shoot on sight, whether you have an Axe, an AS50 or a Flashlight... How do I know you won't come back later to find me and kill me? I don't, so you must die.

There was a bug not too long ago where this happened, a quick fix is to delete your profile in Operation Arrowhead and make a new one... either that or get someone to apply an Epi-Pen to you while passed it. Both will fix this.

Patrol Pack (coyote) is the 8 slot backpack (start pack and 2nd smallest in the game) Coyote Backpack is the 24 slot backpack (biggest in the game) You can also, only have 1 backpack equipped at a time! I personally run with an AS50 purely because of the 1shot kill, to prevent people from using the ALT+F4 'technique'. If they do once they are hit, I still get the kill and that's what matters really.

The only reason they are so common is because of how ridiculously easy it is to accidentally and purposefully dupe in this game. The AS50 at least is a very rare rifle and is hard to find, unless you are searching for tents in the Wilderness far up north... or in tent camps in arbitrary forests in the game. If there was no duping and the ammo was just as rare, so working as intended, you would simply not see them as often at all.

The 'random shitty country/ area' has military bases/ airfields. So yes, you will find them lying around.
