So I was just thinking.. Since scripters can random tele people, why not put random alien encounters where they have good (rare)drops and have a chance to teleport you somewhere random on the map lol if you dont kill them in time or something. Or a UFO! Idk just thought itd had some humor and excitement, granted the encounters be VERY rare.

Zombies are pure fantasy. Their have been millions of 'ufo' sightings. How many zombie sightings? lmao.. Even if you included the crazy guy in florida, the ratio is still 1:1,000,000. But as for every else feedback appreciated so ty, bad idea :(

Wish I could say when me and my friend helped a random guy getting shot at, then let him take all the gears he want from him (cause the survivor had nothing), but sadly... we were shot by him only seconds later. -

Good quote! Too many times I've helped someone without a weapon just to be shot while I was looting/checking map. "Yes or No" seems too black and white to me. Considering all the different things that can happen to affect your decision. I say, If you don't wanna kill them, avoid them or if that's not possible at least take out their legs so you don't have to worry about being followed and killed. Basically, I wont shoot as long as they avoid me/i avoid them. But if they see me and come at me, i'll bring them down just to be safe.

This. Is why I never play in a full/near full server. Ive had MAYBE 1 script kiddie encounter in a little less than a month of playing. I say maybe, because it could have very well been a simple bug in the game that killed me, but numerous others died nearly right after me and before me. -
Unless I am the only one, there is a new ArmA2 patch and I installed it. SADLY, it seems no server has been updated yet :( so i cannot play lol Please update your sever(s) if you read this, ME LOVE YOU LONG TIME!

Im using dayz commander and no servers are showing up, cause I have "hide wrong version" selected. BUT that would be awesome if it lets me play. I'll give it a try quick and report back! Ty for the input!

Very good point/idea. I didn't even think to look at the percentages of servers running each version before I updated(got too excited I guess). Though I just got a better job and could probably help out the community and purchase a server. Don't get my first check for a bit though, with the waiting week..

I feel ya. Helped somewhere on the Medic forum and ended up teaming up with him. We headed torwards the hospital for more supplies. Found an unarmed survivor on the way and invited him to join us. Then continued.. On the way to the hospital, we all three started getting shot at, so me and my friend took out the bandit and gave the weaponless guy with us first dibs on the bandits gear. He looted him and then killed me and my friend... Kill everyone or be killed. Theres no other way to play this game right now... -

As far as i know medics jump servers depending on their client. Also according to the OP, you just start helping people and once u've helped enough you'll be added to the 'white list'. -
