Luckily, that will be at least a year or two at best. Though the best thing for DayZ to get now is proper hitbox registration and ragdoll physics! It would definately get me out killing zombies just to pile up them bodies and watch them fly meters in the air when I headshot them with an AS50 with only centimeters distance to their face!

You should EASILY be able to play at max at this resolution. Have you checked if both your cards are being used? Have you tried the 12.8 RC1 ATI drivers from guru3d? Gave me around a 11 FPS boost on a 7950, cities don't get me below 60 frames A fresh reinstall or a multi-boot with the same operating system only for that one game helps tremendously aswell :) :edit: Also what CPU is that specifically? Can you not overclock it more? I have my 955 running at 4GHz and apparently the performance gain is not linear, it increased exponentially the higher I got, from 3.8 to 4.0 gave me a better boost than 3.5 to 3.7, oddly enough... :D -
Even though the use for this is stupid, it's still a really big annoyance. Picking up a Chemlight in Day time (dusk it would seem) causes the game to hang forever, not even alt+f4'ing works, only Task Manager force shutdown worked. Can replicate again and again so it was not just a one time thing. 95417 and 1.7.2.4 4GHz Phenom II 955 7950 oc'ed to 1080/1660 and 12.8 RC1 drivers Am I the only one with this bug? (flares do not have this same bug)

That is true. But he's saying his girlfriend gets alot better frames, which is weird.. They should BOTH be struggling with 10-20 FPS even on low, weiiiiird. @OP - the 4670 is extremely underpowered, I'm amazed you're trying anything above low and 1280x720 :o No hard feelings, just saying :) :edit: the reason I say this, is, my friend has an I5-2500k at 5 GHz and a 6850 which is by far the winner compared to a 4670, and he can barely run this game at 1680x1050 (shitty monitor, so he's forced to use this resolution) and all his settings are tweaked to no-end.

Tell him to remove all his malware and obvious vira floating around. Then guide him to guru3d.com and tell him to get Catalyst 12.8 from the ati drivers section. I use a worse processor and a 7950 and I get 50-110 FPS constant even in cities with everything at max (AA disabled)

Yup, and with that said, I did somehow manage to logon to a 1.7.2.3 server with ALL the current updates, have no clue how/why that happened. That said, I managed to kill some zombies, "consume some cans" and drink a pepsi, then run into a lamp post and get kicked off the game. Played for 10 minutes before the server realized something was not right, weiird.

I was going to say this, but yes, agreed. DayZ is currently tenthousand (yes, 10.000) times better than Six Launcher at the moment. It has so many more options and it's filters actually work. It just works. Damn. Finally something about DayZ that works :)

This server 108.61.35.26:2702 in specific is making both me and my friend have horrific FPS. Just wondering how the HELL a server can make the CLIENT lag FPS wise?

No game can block AHK or even AutoIt, your scripts may very well just be brokedededed. I think this might work... replace NumPad1 with whatever key you want to toggle W for This should be useful for toggling the ALT key aswell.. Though I cannot test right now :/ NumPad1::Send, {W Down} NumPad1 UP::Send {W UP}

Battleye doesn't scan anything but the ArmA process, so well.. I think it's quite obvious Cheat Engine was injected/hooked onto ArmA. If Battleye scans other processess, then maybe I'm wrong.

Same problem, only 5% of the servers on the list will have a proper ping displayed. 50/10 mbit, 14ms ping to almost everywhere... hm..

I had to join a server running a patch earlier than what I had installed, and then I was able to join the newest...... very, very weird.

Win. My 955 @ 3.8 GHz is far from bottlenecked. My 7950 is rap*ng DayZ. -

Problem solved. Had nothing to do with my internet as suspected. It's ArmA that sucks ass... I changed the six launcher additional parameter to include "-port=2350" so our games run from different ports...

Using my MSI FX790-GD70 with bridge mode giving internet to my friend next to me, we would always lag inconsistently.. I am sure it is not my motherboard/drivers doing weird things, I don't know about the router, though it was a hella expensive one. I think this could only come from DayZ servers. What do?
