Seeing as though most ppl viewing this thread will have found camo or ghillie im going to put it out there... If you wanna trade your camo clothing or ghillie (i would rather camo clothing) for something I got quite a bit of stuff, sandbags m4a1 CCO sd, m107's, LOTS of ammo, etc... send me a msg or post here if ur down.

awsome, where is the best spots to find camo btw? I always figured supermarkets and high residential buildings like apartments etc...

any music in general will interfere with the in-game effects.. personally (i am sure a lot of other ppl feel the same) if there is someone wading through the grass next to me I want to be able to hear it clear as day before he shoots me in the face.

Ghillie suits aside, I have found tons of topics referring to them. I want to know about camo clothes, has anyone found it before/ is it still in game/is it useable? I have only ever seen ppl with ghillies, never camo clothes. I dont even know what it looks like.

The game is supposed to be realistic and being able to talk to someone 50 km away from you is not realistic

no one person should be able to communicate or locate specific players... it sounds like he must be scripting or hacking if he is able to attack or abuse specific ppl.. even if he is able to communicate with them, he should not be able to. Honestly I have heard the devs say admins are not allowed to ban hackers, but I think thats BS, if someone was cheating on my server i would ban their ass no hesitation. They cannot rationally expect admins not to ban cheaters.

zombies are secondary to players in this game not vice versa. when you shoot at a player there is a risk of attracting zombies. A clear sign of someone who is new is a player who shoots at zombies and attracts players. Zombies are an easy problem on their own, its the problem they create when coupled with the danger of other players. OP: if you played for another 30 deaths (instead of giving up) you would realize how boring and easy zombies are, and that the real rush comes from the FEAR of PK's not the fear of zombies.

i have to hand it to the hacker thats much more creative than just straight up killing everyone

#1 problem with pvp in this game imo is the fact that two players shooting at eachother will likely kill one another. no one will get the killing shot first because of the major delay

theres a set of big water towers or barrels with ladders at the end of cherno pier, on the east side. Upon trying to use the ladder to get back down one of these things, i was launched 30 feet forward off the top of it and died. Just a warning, ladders may sometimes launch you to your death.

when you come down to it, its all sport... a group of hunters go out into the woods to shoot birds with their rifles, not for food, but for fun. you could compare a guy with his m107 to the hunters and a noob with his flashlight to the birds. a 500m snipe is a hillarious thing no matter what gear they have.

why i never play on a regular server

Just recently updated to 95208 and I am unable to connect to some currently updated servers of the same beta patch version. It gives me 'wait for host', which is a problem i have had before, and when looked into found out it was a conflict in beta version. Just want to know if anyone else has a similar issue

woooooow find another server... ur like the whiny kid in the classroom who taddles on everyone edit: you waste the dayz employees time with this crap, what they should be doing is reviewing real problems and complaints like things revolving around scripters and bug reports. There are plenty of servers out there, find another.

music wont work, cus personally i turn off music so that it dosnt hinder my ability to hear, footsteps/gunshots, etc.. i remember when i first started playing the game i was so scared it was rediculous, just the sight of a minefield of zombies ahead of me got my nerves on end. However, after i realized how to manipulate the creatures they became more manageable.. lets assume logging out and despawning them isnt an option. you fear what you dont know... i think this could be a good thing to work off of. when you know that zombies can be easily kited into a barn and picked off one by one, why nt just sprint into town and hit the first barn you see.. Or if you know that a zombies aggro range is a certain thing, you dont fear them coming after you... the game could be scarier just from the addition of zombies that cannot be manipulated or read. diablo 3 has a system where rare mobs have specific abilities which make them unique (i know it was a bad system that was part of the downfall of d3). the point i am making is what if these zombies were each unique, a random generation, so that they arnt all the same. I am not saying to give zombies magma paths and laser beams or the ability to spit acid. Think more realistic. Some zombies run where some zombies dont, Maybe some will dive and attack you where as some zombies will lunge at a longer range. Not all zombies can be ditched in the forest, some hear you better where as some see you better. Like I said, you fear what you dont know, and once enough people realize what the limitations are of dayz and its mechanics, the pve portion will become less fearful. P.S. plz dont troll me cus I mentioned d3, I know there is probably a lot of dislike towards it, I was just trying to use an example. edit: The scariest things I always found in games involving undead were the addition of children... you add a crying child or two into the small corners of some buildings or a closet next to where someone is looting... thatll scare the crap outa me any day

lets be honest here, when comparing dc exploiters to ppl who script, dupe, and hack, people who dc exploit arnt THAT bad.. when i see people complain that they shot someone and clearly saw them alt+f4 (their corpse disapeared) i can only play the worlds smallest violin for them. You tried to grief/shoot on sight someone and take their stuff and they denied you... cry me a river. I have done the same thing; shoot someone, knock them out and have had them dc. When it happens I dont get mad though, because it makes sense that most people in that situation would do the same thing. I griefed him, and I am crying that he didnt let me do it? lol seriously.... EDIT: that being said I do still agree with the OP's suggestion... its like a big bully in the school yard beating up a little kid, and the little kid happens to have a big brother that pummels the bully... so the bully calls no fair? thats what im seeing here.
