I would think when you save a tent it should be there permanent (though it can disappear after a server restart)

What is the opinion on camo faces?

I think they are personal preference. The camo is useless because of the big ass black cappie you got on your head, so it won't give you an advantage anyways -
The mod is in an alpha stage, this means rocket is searching for features which suits the gameplay well. they are little experiments and at this stage rocket tries those little ideas and when he sees they work well, he improves them. To zombie behaviour and so on i think this isn't in rockets might to fix this, but in Bohemia Interactive. Some bugs have to do with the engine, not the mod-coding and as long as it's a mod rocket can't change the engine.

So I skiped through the pages of this thread and read only the things rocket wrote (easy to see with this purple name :D) and I hope I understaood him right: He says that this mod is going to die when there won't be money input from our side, but he isn't sure about the payment model he wants to have? Rocket, make this "pay what you want" model. I'm not saying this because then everyone can get the game for 1€ or something, but because I'm sure that with this (mostly) awesome community there are a lot of people who would buy it for a reasonable price (me included). This way even "poor" people can enjoy your game and won't have to worry about 50€ they have to spend on it, again. I've seen a few threads where people ask if its good to buy arma just for this mod, because they don't have much money. I don't want this mod to die and I want you to become successfull rocket!

rocket stated in the 1.5.8 changelog that bandit skins will stay until thursday (today). Is this still planed or did I just miss something?

Well... I guess... thank you for replying to my thread :-) I just got scared that you don't enjoy making the mod because of the community. I'm really excited now that you want to get the mod into a game release as fast as possible. You delivered in average 1 patch in 3 dayZ (<- pun, you see it?) which is really really impressive and that "pay what you want" model would be great! People pay much for a good product. Hopefully your ideas on improving the gakme, adding new features and your way to think will never find an end. -Cutzero PS: Hopefully you still get enough tears from the community to feed yourself ;-)

My startoptions for Operations Arrowhead on Steam are now -mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@dayz -nosplash and when i try to start it it says Error creating Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine Any solutions? -

Can somebody please explain to me how to run DayZ with this Beta Patch? I have the steam version. I downloaded the patch and installed it, but I don't understand whether I have to write something else in my startup line than "-mod=@dayz -nosplash". Thank you helpfull community :-) -
Since you seem to have some experience in setting up camps, just let me ask you one question: How do you make sure that the camp isn't raided when you logg out? I mean... 2 wire fences don't seem secure at all...
