I haven't even smelt salty air from the ocean in the past 3 weeks of this game, Cherno is the beehive of hacker and cheating D-bags, stick to the forest.. become one with the trees.. use nature to your advantage.. and you shall prevail in the Day which is called Z. Kids got bored of Call of Duty 43, so they decided to come PK ruthlessly in Day Z.

They have hacked in Ghillie suits, dropped civilian cloths, and after i unloaded 2 clips of M4A1 into their face, and blood squirting out, they looked at me and shot me until i cried. Someone shouldn't be living while blood gushes from their head.

Looking for AS50 or M107 sniper coverage? I assume daytime operations considering very few snipers can be used with my NVGs.

Alas, some good souls in Day Z that have gear and help others... the undying a-holes in cherno who farm noobs without taking damage is going to kill the game fast.

Pick a location both people are fine with, run up to the location with a flashlight, both drop the trade items, pick them up, and run back the way you came for ~5mins to the server saves the gear. It's a trust thing i guess..

One of the funnier moments i've ever had, Playing MC Hammer "Can't touch this" while running across the airfield getting shot at, and hearing bandits laughing up on top of the ATC tower. CAN'T TOUCH THIS!

Was running to the airfield in pitch black with 5 of my friends looking for supplies (we all have NVG) and i was leading the charge with my M249 SAW. We are running across the tarmac and i swear i see a scope glint in the window of the control tower... so we all run in, as i turn to the door a bandit using a M240 Machine gun rolls down the stairs and dives under them. I run in, guns blazing! Just absolutely firing everywhere inside the stairs, the bandit rolls out and tries to fire and hits me in the leg but i light him up like the grill at your local Denny's. He's dead, i'm bleeding out with a broken leg inside and 2 of my buddies come running in and the first thing those bums do is loot the bandit! While i'm sitting there crawling towards the body with my tongue to loot MY corpse, they run past me and jack all his good stuff! (end qq rant of bastard RL friends) So after all of that, they bandage me up and give me a blood transfusion, i ask them if they got an extra NVG from the bandit... and it turns out he didn't have night vision. So he didn't see ANYTHING just heard us running up to him and the ONLY thing he saw.. was my muzzle flash spraying rounds at his face. We all laughed for quite a bit. It was a night time server, so the only reason he was there was server hoping for loot like a noob. TL;DR : Don't server hop or ALVARIE WILL COME FOR YOU! I also crawled back across the airfield and into Vybor with a broken leg because no one had morphine. Took me 56 minutes.

More or less a Bandit who is taking advantage of a exploit of server hoping for gear, and shooting before asking questions. I could care less if it was a random guy that wasn't server hoping for gear. :)

Howdy, I recently came across a M249 SAW Machine gun, and was surprised that i had to drop my backpack in order to pick it up and use it. The M249 SAW highlighted both the gun slot, and backpack slot when i went to equip it and still haven't found a way to use it with a backpack despite seeing countless videos of people with the same weapon but with a backpack on. Did this change in a recent patch? Or am i missing something..

Well.. I did find it in a tent with about 800 rounds (4 clips) so it might be hacked in.. that sucks : / Time to find a non-hacked one.
