Ok... I have that completed in preparation of the instance ID approval. Thank you for the reply. Once approved, I'll reply back to this thread confirming that all of the documentation was included. That way, once google indexes this thread there will at least be a place where people in my situation can get the answers.

I'm hoping they just send out some sort of "getting started" documentation with the approval, but who knows... Why do you say that? From what I understand the devs want to give out these instance IDs to anyone who meets the requirements. Also, I've read that most people wait an average of 3 days before hearing back... I've been waiting less than 24 hours.

That is not my goal... I don't believe I indicated that was something I was trying to do. To clear the air, I'm looking for the approved, super legit way to build a DayZ server... not on my home PC... on a dedicated server of mine. I have read through all of the pinned posts in the server general forum, which indicate server requirements (which my server meets or exceeds) as well as answers to FAQs, etc.

I actually mentioned this in my post, I'm currently waiting on the instance ID approval from the dev team. What I'm looking for is the process of building the server. Thanks for the reply.

I'm currently in the process of getting a server set up, and thought I'd try to track down a list of ports to open up in my firewall when I found your post. Thought I'd point out that opening up 3306 is risky, as it gives people access to your DB. Probably want to lock that back down.

Is anyone near Mogilevka that would be kind enough to bring me a morphine injector?

Hello all, When using the server filter, is it possible to search for more than one term? For instance 95099 & GMT-7 Some sort of wildcard or separator that can be used? Thank you.

Are there any filter options with six launcher? I've only seen them in-game.

This was just an example, there have been many times I'd like to filter more than one word found in the server description. Not really looking for workarounds, just wondering if it's possible to search for multiple terms. Thanks for your reply.

I thought about that, but assumed I'll get shot/axed/etc if I attempt it. I'd just assume start over again.

PM sent... thanks in advance. P.S. I promise this isn't a trap... I'm just a noob with no friends in this game that doesn't want to start over... I'm having a tough time getting started... seems like each time I get some gear together I get murdered, or when I go to connect to a new server my progress is lost.

It's a legit request... I just started playing this game 2 days ago and only have one friend also playing... he's been away for a while so I have no help. I don't really want to start over, but I'm about to if there are no takers. Tried in-game, but didn't want to risk having some assbag come up and axe me in the face. I know that's probably what will happen regardless of where I ask for the help, but w/e. If someone's up for it, PM me for vent info.
