Alienware might be a fancy name for a dell, but it doesn't defeat the fact that since Alienware has been around it has been posting most of the highest benchmarks on the most intense games. If any of you bothered to read his Diagnostics, you would notice that his rigs hardware is perfectly fine. I'm running a much lower-end PC and he's running the same FPS I am. My thoughts: Your PC probably came with some performance software which allows you to tweak the performance of your hardware, this is called overclocking. I believe you may have messed with these settings. If possible, return them to default. A second option is downgrading your Direct X version and seeing if you have better or worse FPS. Third, updating your driver software, generally you can find these with google. You have four gigs of Video memory, and 8 gigs of ram, your processor isn't bottlenecking the rest of your hardware, so it's obviously a software issue. If you've tried multiple different solutions to no avail, I would suggest formatting your PC's hard drive. This is a simple process that takes nothing but a bit of time. It will wipe your harddrive and install a fresh OS with nearly no drivers, so you'll need to update completely. After this, you should be running normally. Based off of a general idea, I'd vote you should run about 50 FPS on medium to high settings. Are there any other high quality games that you've played on your PC without any problems?
