  1. Chances of all 50 being intact is pretty slim.
  2. I've actually tested vehicles saving off the map, as well as camps and players. Tents cannot be places, vehicles despawn and players are respawned (with their gear) in a random map location.
  3. Vehicles can no longer be stored off the map, once a server restarts, vehicles too close to the edge of the map get returned to a previous location. (Where that is beats the hell out of me, but probably spawn location.) Chances of you finding one of the 20ish vehicles (including bicycles) is pretty slim. Especially if there are active clans taking them, using them, and probably destroying them. You may have found a few camps, but from how clans usually work, they have outposts, you probably just found a previous outpost that was once a main site that became compromised. Most tents are still full of loot thanks to the dupe bug, so don't expect them to be their main host site. Try finding where all the sites are, and do rounds, eventually, you might catch them in the act.

    Standalone Poll: First Person Only?

Honestly, third person adds someone more realism than people give it credit for. It adds for perception you lack in a game. It allows you to see yourself, as if you were patting yourself down, or if you felt a wound. First person, you feel nothing, cant check yourself and surroundings, and cant tell where you got hit for shit. As for corners? In reality, you can flatten yourself on a wall, and peak around the corner with JUST an eye, DayZ first person? You lean half your torso out into the open just so you can look around a corner. Then there's prone, unable to see anything through the grass, and you cant adjust your angle, or arch your back up to get a slightly better view while laying down. Your only option in game is to stand up. You might as well spotlight yourself and throw flares around your body, in cherno, in the middle of the night. Sure, you cant ACTUALLY see things in the 3rd person in real life, but when it comes to perception, 3rd person can turn a game into more realistic advantages without actually building in the extra shit it would need. I mean, come on, your keyboard is already loaded the eff up with controls. To add the perception needed for these things would take up an extra keyboard. Leave the 3rd person on, and if you really hate it, just go somewhere that doesn't have it. But honestly, a lot of us like it, and not simply for the sake to see the entire world unfairly. Typically I use first person, but in certain situations, 3rd person is a must, otherwise I have to stand 3 feet out from a wall, and lean my body out into the open while checking a hill for a sniper, where in reality, all that would be exposed would be 20% of my face. And honestly, if you focus on how the 3rd person bends, its not that bad, I cant look over a wall. Only around the corner a bit. I cant bend it to face the back way of a room that I'm afraid to go into. Its none of that, bit it does allow for a little extra to those who actually know how to use it. I say its not a cheat, I say its not unfair. Especially when everyone has this advantage, not just your target.

  8. Duping of any sort is a exploitable glitch in the games system. This can be considered by looking at tents, vehicles, "False Players", or any other means. You cannot, and will not, be banned by Battleye for any reason regarding these game glitches. As it is, tents and vehicles gear cannot be properly saved, so even if you tried to be a "good boy" and save over you taking gear from tents, it would not work. On some servers, douche admins might ban you for duping, however, this is also not allowed and admins caught doing so will have their server blacklisted. In short, you are protected from being banned for these errors in the games programming.

You know you play to much DayZ when..

You check for sniper posts while walking down the street of an unfamiliar town/city. You analyze random people to check if they are friendly before approaching. You start checking your pockets for what gear you've acquired. Only to realize its only your keys and cell...

I'm a hero. I have a big gun. Do you shoot me?

You lack another very much needed answer... No, I would not shoot on sight, not because you are a hero, but because you are another person. I avoid conflict where ever possible. I could care less about your clothes. But the moment I notice someone looks at me, that's when my RoE change. I know I've been shot for no reason before, I know how it feels. I'm not going to set myself out to do the same to someone else who doesn't deserve it, bandit, survivor, hero, I don't care. We all spend AGES trying to get what we've gotten. Until I am threatened, I see no reason to end someones life, let alone their hard work.
