Once you've got a good amount of patients taken care of PM Dr Wasteland, MD with evidence that you've healed several people (have patients 'review' you on the thread) and you'll get added to the whitelist once you've got enough. From there you can join TMW at any time should you so desire to. Alternatively, you could just act as a supplier/escort/assistant to an established medic, by leaving a post indicating your desire in the same thread. I'm busy right now or I'd help you out more, good luck!

Thanks to Kydoimos who once again lended his Helicopter and his time to the gearing up of medics, as well as the two chaps that died with me earlier. I've got obligations to some friends right now but later I'll be available to heal once more.

Two medics and two great people that came to help them have been killed in the line of duty again. This is getting out of hand, Turkey, Ketchup 504, and Xcelsior came to help me and we all had good gear finally. We were killed en-masse by a sniper, once again.

Medic in need of a medic in Vyshnoye. I got downed by zombies while trying to install a fuel tank on a broken GAZ. I'm unconscious and bleeding, likely in need of a transfusion. I have one blood bag you can take. I'm a tiny bit northwest of the low-yield industrial hut in Vyshnoye. Expended most of my revolver ammo killing the zombies but then realized I was out of bandages and logged out like a pansy. Contact me on steam (Askar). Please help!

Anyone able to reach Vyshnoye with car parts? I doubt it's possible but me and Turkey would like to fix up a GAZ we found here. Everything on it is destroyed and I've got only a patrol pack to carry parts from cherno. Sorry for the semi-offtopic but this would help us medicate a lot. The storage space for 50 med supplies alone would be amazing.

I could use a lift too. And thanks for the offers guys, but what I really need right now is a backpack of some sort. I've found an M14 AIM, while I have no idea how good this gun is, it's worked for me so far. I'm near Pusta now, I almost got murdered by a pair of bandits and had to run.

Damn, after hearing what happened to Turkey after I left, the past two days have been a real tragedy for medics. Aside from me and him desperately trying to re-gear over and over, two other medics also got gunned down yesterday and Kydoimos lost his helicopter and his life while attempting to help me and Turkey. Someone is out to kill us all... Anyway, I'm available to help anyone near Elektro or Cherno. I don't have much right now, I'm working out of the starter pack. Indeed. We're still ungeared and barely surviving the coastal wars. Kydoimos came to our rescue with a helicopter and tons of good gear, but we were all murdered and the helicopter was stolen at the end of the session when we landed to help him refuel. Hopefully tomorrow we can get back on our feet, and maybe I'll be able to help Kydoimos replace his helicopter. Sorry to that patient we never reached. We were close, and then two thunderous roars set off a 6 hour series of deaths and vain attempts to survive. Signing off for tonight, may tomorrow go better.

I'm near Elektro (Otmel) at the moment, but I don't know where the others are. We're trying to regroup and see if the heli was taken or not. Band of snipers got us.

Huge props to this guy. Flew in like an angel, picked us up, and geared us up even better than we were before. Most help I've had in a long time from anyone! Now we just need a vehicle or PBX ;) And then we all died and the helicopter was lost.

Me and Turkey are still dying over and over. Lots of bandits and hackers don't want us recently murdered medics gearing up again.

En-route to Mogilevka to rescue a patient, we were both gunned down in the woods as we roasted a boar. We both died in less than 5 seconds total, no time to react at all. It was either a very loud shotgun or a short ranged sniper. Short and brutal, but we're trying to gear up now.

I'm on the coast just north of Skalisty Island, and he spawned in Cherno. Thanks for any help you can offer, it means a lot :)

You guys need to stop freaking out about non-whitelisted medics coming to help. Most of the ones you're refusing have already helped other people if you dig into their past. This is how we all start out, it's in their interests to help you as it is in your interests to accept their help. They need to help you to get on the whitelist, and you need medicine. It's as simple as that. Hell, if one of them betrays you, PM me and I'll replace your gear from right off my back. At the moment I've got everything you could want and more. I'm personally vouching for Saucy and others like him. Also, I'm still waiting for patients in Cherno, Elektro, Balota, or anywhere in between. PM me or add me on steam (Askar).

I'd rather die than not have any more patients, really. If I die now, I'm finally free from my 33 day old character with every item in game and I can do whatever the heck I want when not off medicating people. Man, I would kill for a helicopter. Not really, since I'm a medic. But you know what I mean. The only vehicles I've ever seen or driven in game are my old bike and a tractor I had for half an hour once. It's been my dream since early May to get a helicopter, all I find are these useless rotors and nothing to attach them to :( Glad to hear of your rescue Lynx. My first experience with medics in DayZ was somewhat similar, where I hurtled aforementioned tractor into a rock at the insane speed of 10 KM/hr and exploded, managing to crawl away (had to bandage twice, kept bleeding) with a mere 97 blood. Posted here and got help quickly, though I was hard to find since I was almost constantly unconscious in some brush. Days like this are so slow and devoid of patients that it drives me mad, sitting here at Cherno, waiting. Gotta go do some RL stuff but I'll be back in a little bit if anyone needs help!

Actually, I'd prefer they list everything except a server here when they need help. It helps medics determine if they're available to assist, the only exceptions should be if you know the medic you intend to PM is free and in your area. Patients, please list the nature of your wounds and your location (as exact as possible) in your posts for help. Noone is going to find you in the (well over 3000) huge list of servers based on that information alone, and it helps us help you. Edit: I think I misunderstood your post. Of course the server meeting location should be determined via PM or steam message, but everything else might as well be public.

On duty now at Cherno, I can reach anywhere near Cherno however, including Elektro and/or Balota regions. Add me on steam (Askar) or send me a PM and I'll get you sorted out. I do have two antibiotics at the moment.

I don't care about crosshairs or third person really. As long as third person is out there, I'll try to get on servers with it, but I'll be glad when the standalone standardizes the ruleset so we don't have it anymore. Also, waypoints cheapen navigation. I use them often as a medic, but they really should be taken out.

He who stands with me shall be my brother. Quick update, I should hopefully be available tomorrow, primarily in the Cherno-Elektro-Mogilevka regions. Now fully stocked (including antibiotics) and fully equipped, having luckily replenished my supply of STANAG SD rounds within the city. I can reach you anywhere in the more dangerous southern areas.

In the past, people I attempted to help or incidents where I picked a fight with someone far bigger than me. However, since I've become a medic (you'd think I'd die more now...) I haven't died in a long time. My current character has 33 days, surprisingly.
