Taking patients anywhere. I'm at Berezino now but I'll be moving shortly, if noone else is able to reach you sooner I will head to you. My bike wasn't stolen. Expanding my range to the entire map, although if you're on the western edge it will take up to 30 minutes for me to reach you. Since no patients have responded yet, is anyone available to transfuse me? I can bike to you.

The chance for a broken limb either needs to be reduced greatly, or replaced with a higher amount of bloodloss. I'd say falls of two meters or more should still be very dangerous, but I've broken my legs on falls less than a meter many times. In fact, about half of the calls for help I respond to are people with broken legs, typically in those 3-tiered barns.

Heck, I hit hospitals in the dead of night. Right in the center of the most dangerous cities on the map, and I'm throwing flares and chemlights and using my flashlight. I've never been shot at while doing so. Sure, anyone in the region will see your light and know you are there, but with so few players on the server there's actually a rather low chance of that happening. Also, a lot of people playing at night are there to loot just like you are, and they'll often avoid anywhere they think another player is. Even now that I have NVG I still avoid other people's flares when I see them. I don't want to get shot at and I don't want to have to shoot them in defense. So I just ignore them and go on my way, and this seems to be the prevailing nighttime attitude. You're going to get shot at whether you play at night or during the day. A quick tip, if you think someone is in the area, throw flares everywhere and then run to the shadows. Anyone relying on conventional lighting will see only the flared areas, and anyone using NVG will be blinded by the flares and unable to track you.

Personally, I'd rather see him implement mechanics that encourage players to set up their own mission-systems. There are already organizations that do things very much like this. There are groups with threads that you can post in for help with this or that, and you're essentially giving a mission to that group. The mission rewards are whatever the two parties in question have worked out beforehand, much like a standard mission system in most other games. The only difference is that players both make and give the missions. I saw a thread floating around somewhere the other day, where a group of people would help you loot the Vybor Airfield and Stary in exchange for basic supplies. The entire medical assistance thread is essentially one giant mission board. The point I'm trying to make here is that I'd like to see much more of the stuff players are now starting to do. I don't want any arbitrarily designed missions given out by the game engine itself, I'd much rather see player creativity and ingenuity challenged as they create their own 'missions' of sorts. Part of that challenge would, consequentially, be figuring out how to actually arrange the services desired and the rewards in a relatively safe manner for both the contracting and the contracted parties. Much as rocket himself seems to want, the players need to design their own purpose.

I don't care if zombies aggro from far away, but only if I'm running about like a fool and they can clearly see me. They shouldn't be able to home in on me while I'm crouch-walking or crouch-running and they're a block away. They hear each other running and shambling about all the time... Once they no longer phase through walls and see through buildings I'll be happy.

I'm not in a position to take screenshots right now, but I'm getting the same crazy sight-blinding bug most of these other poeple are getting. I've been getting it all over the Hospital region of Berezino. Nowhere else with static dead soldiers though, only the ones near the Berezino hospital. It's making my practice difficult, since I'm blind once I'm within rendering range of the bodies. Using Radeon HD 7700M with fully updated drivers (problem persisted before and after I updated). I can't give a complete list of objects that cause this issue for me, but it seemed like something else in the city was also blinding me. I couldn't get an angle to see what it was though, I do not think it was a soldier corpse.

Okay. My patient is not responding and I need an immediate transfusion behind the Berezino hospital. I get some weird artifacting error there and I'm completely blinded within Berezino, so I got mauled pretty badly by some zombies. I stabilized myself but I'm sitting here at 6k blood. Hiding inside the hospital from the rain and zombies. I still can't see anything :( Zombies somehow found me. Making a run for the forest, I'll let you know if I survive. Ran through a barn and threw a frag grenade in behind me. Got about 20 zombe kills B) I ate what food I had and managed to climb back to 8.5k, so I'm still alive. Sorry to whoever needed my help in Berezino, you weren't responding and I had to run. And with that I'm signing off for tonight. Hopefully I can get some help tomorrow and then start helping people again.

I've got 11 PMs going at the moment and half of them are people asking if I can come help them with no info. I'd love to help but you have to help me help you :) Also please make a regular post in the thread as well. I'll help when and where I can but there are several other medics who can help out too. It'd lighten the load on me considerably.

Not a specific server. Typically, you tell us where you are and what you need. Then we come to where you are, and we then negotiate a meeting-server with you. Both parties join the server, we heal you, and then we move on to the next patient.

I haven't received any PMs yet. I'm going to assume that if you haven't PM'd me you are either no longer in need of assistance or are unavailable right now. I'll hang around a little while longer, in case anyone does need help.

Once I confirm that I can help you and am in the area, we'd discuss via PM where to meet and on what server. I know that feeling. A few weeks ago before I became a medic I wanted to try my hand at sniping. Spent nearly a week hunting for rifles, got 3 AS50s and an M107. Lost every single one to weird server-related bugs. :(
