    PKing is rewarded, friendly play is punished

    While I can agree with you that the bandits can potentially have an easier time than survivors, having a scoring system of any kind would be meaningless and defeat the purpose of Day Z. The point is survival, not racking up kills or points. Anyone killing a bandit is rewarded with everything that bandit has gathered anyways. Even more so, if it happened to be a veteran bandit. So why have points that mean nothing when killing bandits rewards you with what the bandits had, better equipping yourself and helping you prolong your survival.
