SO yer. Filled up heli - Anyone whos done this will know how I feel right now. Fly about, half a tank left. Save it. Go back to it later and the things almost empty. 5 minuted later again and its empty.W What to do ? Ive filled up twice now and had this.

So last night we logged into our server, chopper was where we left it. Flew down to somewhere, got out, turned the server off. Pretty sure I didnt save the heli..... Log back in and even after restarting the server the chopper is no longer there. Where has the chopper gone. Will it be where it was when last saved or will it now be gone for good?

I paid for the server rental, ill do what i please with it. Who are you to tell me otherwise, there are plenty of servers for you to choose from. Cry me a river you petty bitches. The whole reason we do it is because of hackers. Im guessing as per the 2.5 comment it will keep happening. Seems a bit daft to me.........So when I find a legit vehicle, repair it, drive it to hide it then save it........itll go back to the place it spawned?? This game is genius. I might revert back to 2.4. Atleast I will be able to save vehicles again and dupe items. We have a dedicated lorry to store guns in and another ural for food thanks to the dupe glitch. We have every weapon in the game now with multiple copies.

Why do you think? We also lock it so no one can get in it. The server is purely there for us only. As I said in a previous post, we lock the server so no one gets in it except us. Basically we flew down to cherno, parked up the chopper then jumped server and killed some people.

Its a server connected to the hive mate. We use it to store weapons and vehicles, and use the vehicles (mainly chopper) to get about the server, then server hop and turn our server off. So unless im going to grab some packets (which I cant be arsed with) I dont think there are many alternative methods.....

No one took it because I abuse my rights as an admin and lock the server Weve had the chopper for over a week and used it multiple times, its back where it was last saved, along with the 6 other vehicles weve got parked up. So lesson to anyone, always save the vehicles when getting out. I hope War Z isnt as much as a pile of shit as Day z

Riddle me this. Im stood in cherno woods last night. Log off, come on today on a random server, and Im spawned to the beach. Run back to cherno. Come off the game to eat. Log back in on another random server.....Im now at the quarry in soly. Still got all my gear like but whats the deal with that? Not had this problem before....

Yeah, well why not fix the bug all together? Great, much appreciated - its not so bad as the debug planes............. But im still puzzled... AS TO WHY IT HAPPENS What is the solution or prevention to this bug?

I swear this gun does not exist. I have been playing for a weeks now and come across multiple crash sites. Not one has had the SVD. Ive found numerous bizons and even 2 mags for it. Allsorts of other crap. But not the SVD. I have every gun in the game now stashed in a battle lorry with plenty of ammo. But no SVD. Does thing thing exist?

OK. So how is it i can never find vehicles. Lets say I had my own server, me and a few mates found a van at a petrol station - a listed spawn point. We then lost said van after driving it into a pond and witnessing it suddenly vanish. Reset the server a few times and the car isnt at its spawn point again. Same goes for other vehicles. We found the truck at the quarry. That got stolen fair and square but after a server reset, its not at its spawn point again. Is there a way of wiping the server completely clean so to speak so that everything is restored? Tents and all.?

Not really. We found the vehicle last week, lost it last week hours later. Obviously the server has since been reset and only today have I gone to look for vehicles as im on the coast, and my camp is 200km away. I just cant find any. Reset the server earlier as I dont have regular restarts, I literally cant find any vehicles in their spawn points. How long is the delay?

Still offline for maybe 3 hours now. Defo not renewing my subscription with these cunts.

Is the dev team working on this issue right now, when servers restart the stuff gets wiped. How long for fix? Anyone know

Some of the players/admins on servers are utter twats. Do you feel some kind of special power banning people? I rent a server and I dont give a toss what goes on. i wouldnt ban someone because they killed me. Also who gives a toss if you were banned. Go play another server.

We kill on sight now. Even if the player is a far distance away and hasnt seen me, I hunt him down. last week I hunted some dude legging it across the valley away from another player. He was bleeding, anyways I downed him with my DMR, waited then the other player followed. i shot him too but he Alt-F4'd.

Well im renting a server atm, I stored a tent in the server. I know theres a problem so I decided to only leave a bandage and some meat in there last night. I reset the server manually this morning and all the stuff inside it was gone.

I had this with a server. had no idea where I was but I was spawned out of bounds. If id of had no food id of died.

I purchased this last night at midnight-ish, went to sleep, it got set up early in the morning, woke up early for work, checked if the server was up. one guy playing, went to work, now im home and and its full?

Jesus christ the server im renting is full and I cant get on, what a load of shit.

I know its a big side of the game and I understand that. However surely its up to me how I play the game? I can see from the long list of threads related to this topic of discussion that its pretty much set in stone through the deomcracy that is Dayz. I enjoy playing it normally but sometimes its good to play with a few mates and no one else. Assuming its not "legal" to discuss where I could go to get a locked server away from this hive community?
