Lag males them die alot later ( once shot 2 M4 mags full auto in someone's back, only fell dead when loading in the 3rd mag) but they should still die eventually. If they don't, they hack, simple as.

NW airfield? giveme a break, i been running for 6 hours straight from hangar to hangar, barracks to baracks, never saw an enemy player. Just stay away from high populated servers.

It's a good gun, i prefer the M4A1 CCO/M4A3 CCO tho. Thing about the enfield in close combat is, miss and ur dead.

Hello, I feel your pain, it takes a while to get used to this game, but you will see that it gets alot easyer very fast. First off, never run near zombies, allways crouch, and if needed, use shift crouch ( slow crouch), they should not be able to hear you. Later on, you will learn to just run, grab ur stuff in a house, keep running, and by runnign trough a house/ cutting corners, you will notice, zombies are just so stupid, they are no threat in this game, whatsoever. (it takes some time to trust urself into doing this, but beleve me, just run straight up, aggro all the zombies, grab your stuff in a house=> run out=> u lost all ur zombies, and u got all the stuff, losing no time whatsoever). Alternatively, some people might hate me for teaching u this, but ima do it anyway. Just log out/in when u got zombies, zombies near you despawn upon logging in. no more zombies. Just do what seems more fun, i used to silent crouch but now i use the run/ relog method just because i cba anymore

its nice that this game allows robbing, its a win-win for both parties: Robbers get loot. Victims stay alive. But i would disconnect the fuck outta there tho :D

You'll almost never find them, but when you do, the next 3 buildings you enter will have them 3 times each.

I have no idea, i once sniped 4 players and a bandit in 30 mins, and when my mate killed me (He was too jelly of the M107 :P) he still got a 'murder'

This isn't the server admin who did it but just a hacker with a "hack bomb"(unless ofc, the admin is the hacker). Can't really blame the admin for some random cheater...

If you hear the round, doesn't that mean you survived it? afaik if you get shot by the sniper you never actually hear the round going off... Could just be me

Why 'zombie' dogs? just make them regular wolves? Make them like the age of empires wolves=> small amount of food, but a threat aswell. Would be a solution of the now-safe wilderness

If you would do this realisticly, and you really wanna refuel these generators with "jerrycans", you would realisticly get 3-4 minutes of power after a week of running back-and-forward with a bag full of jerrycans. I'm no zombie apocalypse expert, but the reason why you would wanna attract all the zombies in a 2000km2 square by doing so is something you'll need to enlighten me about

But theres a few things im concerned with: -I'm 21 years old myself and this is a non-issue for myself, but i like to think of others: Mommy is in a full-blown rage and orders 16 year old jack, off (EDIT: jesus christ, this is why commas are important people) the pc or there'll be hell to pay: He is now sleeping in the middle of a military tent in stary sobor. AKA dead. - How will you handle a dc? IP refresh happends to every normal user, router resets aswell. power outages ect.. Means you're dead aswell? Oh, make this into an exception you say?, fine il shortcut my NIC to turn off and i'll still be able to dc mid fight. My suggestion: Lower both timers to 10-20 sec, depending on where u log in/out P.S: stop hating on OP, it's a suggestion thread, granted, its not a perfect suggestion, but at least its ONE approach to this common problem

Snipers are made more to kill people imo, i mean, the good snipers( bar SVD) have an aggro range of 455M. To me it seems a bit risky/waste fo ammo to use em vs zombies. I just gotten my hands on an M107 and i use it to snipe people in elekro ( i'm not THAT MUCH of an asshole that i snipe unarmed players tho, i might even help them if they're getting raped by zombies and i have a clear shot). Its just insanely fun to do, i play BF3 but the satisfaction u get from sniping a player in DayZ is so much higher. If you really wanna be a bandit its the only relatively safe way to do it, go as far as possible, and kill people at 800M, its impossible for enemies to see u at that range without having a scope themselves, hell i can't even see the city when not zoomed in. I have little screen flashes when i look far far away ( think of it as tiny GPU artifacts), can't say if it was before this patch or not cause i been only playing for a week and i haven't payed much attention/didn't get the M107 till now.

First day i was playing i was Looting a mall with my friend, happily makarov'ing zombies, when suddenly we hear shots and the glass windows next to us shattering, i swear to god i shit my pants. I get used to being shot at now, but if i don't expect it, it is still a huge adrenalin shot. To me this game is even scaryer than F.E.A.R(the first one), and we needed 3 people to finish that game, switching player every 20 mins coz too f ing scary

Not sure if "best friend" really is the words u should use here. Also, DayZ shows true colors i guess :D I let my friend die in a 2v2 firefight just so i could run away. He wasn't to happy either.
