Aaaaaand i updated my Arma 2 and I cant see any servers with my version anymore.

This is most likely my problem, as I noticed that my arma 2 had an update available and for some reason steam hadn't auto installed it. Thanks alot!

Didn't quite mean it that way. On numerous occasions people have approached me talking over their mics and then shooting me when getting no response. And I thought i was talking to them:P

Found this handgun, is it any good? I've never seen it before so i assume it is, but i'd like to know before I'm put into a situation where i have to use it. Cheers!

I'm going to talk about something that hasn't really been a popular topic but I suppose its really not that important either. I was in Grishino, just moments ago, and I had an AKM with 5 full mags. Unfortunately I had pulled a zombie, so I ran into a house and shot him. I figured I'd pull some more, but I didn't think that I'd kill about 120 zombies and then die. The zombies just did not stop coming. I ran out of AKM ammo and while shooting them with my useless makarov, one managed to chew through my knee, which eventually killed me. In the whole town there must have been maybe 50 zombies, in the audible range maybe 20. I'm not sure whether this could be implemented with the restrictions that Arma 2 poses on the mod, but I think that it would be awesome if you could just clear out a village and then no new zombies would spawn unless the player(s) left the area. The corpses should stay to warn other survivors that someone other than themselves is in the area. With larger cities being a hotspot the range of zombies respawning around the player should be relatively small, for example, if you kill some zombies, they respawn after you're out of the average audible range of the weapons in dayz. Thoughts? Similar experiences?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having more zombies to begin with.

Well, if they don't actually disrupt other peoples' gameplay and spawn food / drinks etc then i'm fine with it. They are just ruining the immersion for themselves.

You are desperate, searching for answers, confused. You enter a city, take a turn and BAM, run into another survivor. The first living, breathing person you've seen in days, hope, answers. First of all, this is not happening to me, but to a friend of mine. 4 days ago he was able to play just fine, no problems. Today we decided to play again, he updated the mod from six launcher and upon entering the game got the following error: You were kicked ( Battleye failed to update ). He then tried to fix it by doing this: After doing that, he entered the game and was kicked off. I saw the error, but cant recall it. Something about a corrupted file I think. He verified the integrity of the game cache once more and when he tried to join a server got the "You were kicked ( Battleye failed to update )" error once more. He then wiped both six launcher and dayz off his computer and did a reinstall. No joy, got the battleye error again. Suggestions? I get it that alpha is alpha, but this is starting to get quite depressing already. Cheers!

Something similar happened to me some days ago. I had died in cherno, after which I had closed the game. Start game again, spawn near cherno, on a beach, with all my previous gear and 12000 blood. Different servers.

I went there yesterday. climbed up the tower and oh look: sniper afk with absolutely everything on him. I shot the poor sod...

Okay so, I spawn near elektro and on the very edge of town, in the red brick building, I find a makarov with a single mag. I proceed deeper into the city only to find out that there is no loot whatsoever in the city centre. There is absolutely nothing in the shop, the schoolhouse, the apartment building, the church. Nothing. The server was full but I saw no-one in Elektro, only a corpse of a survivor and zombies. Is this a known bug or something? I don't believe that some dude has looted EVERYTHING including all empty cans etc.

I spawned way outside of Elektro.

You can regain blood by eating and by getting a blood transfusion. Cooked food gives more blood back than canned food but both give quite little in comparison with blood packs, but you need someone to give you a blood transfusion, cant give it to yourself.

I spawned near otmel and started running towards Kamyshovo. I ran through the town, aggroing a bunch of zombies and kept running northwest along the road, because I had seen another player running in the same direction. Soon I began to see something that looked like a fire, except that it covered my entire screen. I thought that it was just a bug because I was running with the sun shining in my face. As I ran, I noticed that there was smoke in the sky and the fire was burning everywhere infront of me, even in the air. Then I noticed a tree that had fallen on the road, and only a moment after that I hear one shot whizzing by. The next hit me in the leg but only broke a bone that wasn't necessary for running. I dropped down to 6000 blood and started bleeding, but kept running because there was a zombie after me. As I got closer I saw a wreck of a helicopter next to the tree. Everything continued to burn. As I approached the wreck, i saw that it wasn't a heli crash site (I think anyway) and when I went close to it a message appeared "Save UH-1H". Pics: I had lost loads of blood so there are no colors, unfortunately. What is that thing? I thought that there were no flyable helicopters in this version of dayz.

"Oh they made me a dog?" Hilarious. But yeah, hackers are a problem.
