You can get away playing in low settings. i onced played on a 9500 temp & overclocked it to the max just to get <25 frames and i have a i5 3570k. i only purchased OA and got free dayz and playing on full settings now (full hd) so it does not really matter and you will get all maps regardless of what package you buy. IMO i think you should buy the alpha and play around... get use to the environment and controls or you can start fresh with the standalone coming soon.

i actually got global ban for getting spawned in the empty lands of hell and got my self somehow banned. i never used hacks and condemn it but i just purchased another copy of the game. People who value money like i do will not waste it by hacking a game that requires time and effort.

Spend £600 build your own pc. all the specs you have shown will run arma 3 in minimum standard but that just means crappy frames and will get annoying after a while. i spent £540 on my system and got a GTX 560ti , 2TB HDD, AMD PHENOM X4 (mind you I purchased my build a year and half now) , 8GB RAM, 800watt OCZ BE psu and a Gigabyte mobo. i can play BF3 and arma at ultra settings without any damaging frame loss. so please for the sake of gamers and your money! invest your self into a system that will last you and not one you will regret! Graphics card, CPU are the main hardware's! oh and dont forget a good psu

bro with that money you could of built your self a decent desktop pc... this laptop seems fine but the specs are not "up to standards" for nex gen gaming.

thanks for the link bro... just installing arma 2 free again, since i got OA from steam and arma 2 from a different site would this affect me when downloading Dayz again? or do i need both OA and arma 2 from steam?

so foolishly i just UN installed the free version of arma 2 and now i cannot get it back... the reason why i uninstalled is because my game was not working at all due to me messing about with the new update so i decided to uninstall both my OA and Arma 2. i have purchased OA but now do i need to purchase ARMA 2 aswell? damn my luck!
