I'm kind of annoyed about the enfield. Variants of .303 rifles are quite common guns IRL and they are extremely powerful weapons. My family own one and I have shot it before. Being shot in the chest with one from less than 400 meters would take you down for sure. Maybe not kill you straight away. I think the gun was a fairly accurate representation although I have no knowledge of the lee enfield itself so I am quite possibly wrong. I'm basing my opinion on a more modern .303 rifle. Still, guns are powerful in reality and I would like the game to reflect that. If you shot someone 5 times in the chest with a 9mm handgun they wouldn't just stand there shooting back at you either. But I guess the realism vs game balance is fairly contentious. EDIT: I don't mind that infected can take a load of 9mm to the chest.

How the frak did he take out 3 of them? That's crazy! It's weird that someone would play that way after being saved. You'd think you'd reconsider it, even as a bandit. I've had a bit of play experience as both but even as a bandit I had rules. I wouldn't kill unarmed or low geared players I deemed to not be a threat. I did snipe a little bit in elektro once :P. But no unarmed players. Still, as you said it is what makes DayZ so good. These stories that come out of the game.

If you're gonna server hop, quit the game because you don't understand what the essence of DayZ is about. Glad you killed the guy! And a 50 cal too!
