    The arma 2 engine doesn't support the features you want. The arma 3 engine does. Developing a game isn't as easy as you seem to believe it is. And finally, if the game goes standalone, they're not likely going to only charge $15. It will probably be on par with most other games ($30-60 usd.)

    Did he speak with an awful russian accent on voice? I had some guy drive right to me in the middle of nowhere in a minivan, get out(wearing ghillie suit and crossbow) ask me if I need a ride, then shot me with his crossbow. I hit him 4 times with an enfield, and then died.

    Yeah, I'm one of the 3 friends. They came into town throwing flares, so they were pretty easy to spot and move in on. I moved towards the grocery store, heard shots being fired, and returned fire. We started collecting food and ammo and then the reboot happened. Tried joining twice after that thinking it may be a fluke but I was kicked both times by goat34.
