I don't know the next thing about these matters from a legal side. Bohemia Interactive have done right by me ever since Operation Flashpoint, they've made games that I've consistently enjoyed and as a result I've supported them as best I can by being a return customer. Rocket has created an excellent mod for one of their titles, I've had more fun playing it than I have many other games in the last few years, he's been very open throughout the development and kept a pretty active presence on these forums too. I honestly don't care if he's in the wrong or right, he's done right by me as a player, the least I can do is support him in this. -
Nothing, but thats where the random hordes come in. If you have Zeds moving inbetween towns from the lone individual to entire hordes then the wilderness won't be safe anymore. Hell, holding up in town might even become safer than the wilderness, if only for the availability of supplies.

What's the top three weapons for killing Zeds and other players, across the board? -
I don't like the idea of a database. It goes against the gameplay in a large way. The lack of trust says more about the Day Z players than anything else. If we want a stronger co-operative play then we'll need a reason to team up. Stronger and far more lethal zeds coupled with roaming hordes and far more overall should do it. If players become more afraid of the zombies than each other, working together should come naturally.

I've never tested it but I'd assume so. -
I approve of these ideas. If possible I'd like to see the inclusion of a special Zed or two. Something that would only spawn a few of per server, something to really incite fear in the hearts of the players requiring either an exceptionally geared player or a group of beaners to deal with.

They don't get a comforting hug, chocolate or flowers though, because some still just murder the doc & his helpers. [/quote'] I really don't have many morals but I wouldn't kill a doctor. A steady source of medical supplies available for trade is worth far more to me than a few supplies from one murder and never having the option open again. A beaner or random survivor is different, they're going to kill me on sight, if not for my skin then for my equipment but a doctor is different. Since they're sworn to treat everyone equally, it removes those two factors, making trading a genuine option and not just wishful thinking. Repeating the question since I didn't get an answer, what do you want for Anti-biotics? I've yet to see any drop so I'd be willing to trade almost anything for some. You can pretty much name your price and if I don't have it, I can find it.. within reason of course. -
I've gone full deathmatch a grand total of once in my time in game. I'd recently died in a 4v5 of my group versus another, we'd won but with heavy casualties. I spawned near elektro and made my way in, picked up a winny and enough supplies to reach the rest of my group to the far north west. As I'm leaving elektro, I see a survivor, decided not to shoot him and just crawled past, not even ten seconds later I get shot in the back, knocked unconscious then finished off execution style. I'm furious but as luck would have it, I came back at elektro in the same spawn, I decided immediately that I would get revenge. I sprint through the town firing my makarov, gathering as many zeds as I can find before doubling back to where I died only to strike it lucky a second time, I catch sight of my killer crouched and sneaking away, completely oblivious of the incoming horde. One brief moment of serpentine to dodge his shots, a few rounds from my makarov to his knee and one horde numbering more than fifty later. I got the extreme pleasure of watching him get ripped apart by Zeds moments after I died. I don't regret it for even a minute.

This entire thread is bad. Destroying a helicopter isn't so hard or unheard of that it needs a post, I can more or less guarantee that any of the better equipped bandit groups out there have at least one destroyed chopper to their name. -
I agree with what he said. I wouldn't be murdering everyone I saw on sight, probably try to secure supplies and fortify a single building hidden away somewhere. I'd try to keep a low profile and just generally avoid other people as opposed to actively hunting them down.

You don't need batteries. Also, on my fourth pair currently, the group I roll with actually have a few spare that we carry around so replacing them isn't really an issue. We try to keep them out of the hands of other players though and have gone to some pretty insane lengths to ensure it. The last thing we need is some upstart beaner running around with NVGs and a silenced weapon.

I found one on a bandit I bagged near Cherno industrial, guessing they must drop from military spawns too, they're a bit too loud for my tastes. Anyway for myself. M4 SD + 6 mags M1911 + 2 clips 1 x M67 Frag Grenade 2 x Smoke Grenade 6 x Bandages 3 x Blood Bag 1 x Epipen 2 x Morphine 2 x Painkiller Coyote Elite Night Vision Goggles All the other gear minus GPS and Entrenching Tool. And enough food and water to last a few days.

It's really simple, use cans of beans as the base currency with a bottle of water being worth two beans, everyone starts with four food dollars and I can guarantee there's more than a few of each in circulation so as a currency it should stay relatively stable. The biggest problem is actually storage, players need to be able to safely store items in large quantities and inside buildings at that. Once we have that, I wouldn't be surprised if traders started springing up. -

I used to agree about Cherno but recently I've really taken a shine to the city, especially at night. People are constantly coming through, well geared bandits and desperate beaners and as long as I take no chances and kill them all on sight then I come out of it with an almost endless supply of food/water/ammo. I haven't checked but I heard that those who still have the bandit skins will keep them but it'll be as one of the pickup / changeable skins. I hope this is the case, I've really gotten attached to my camo. You could always swap from "bandit hunting" to securing a town or two and simply protecting them from trouble makers. So he's switzerland. Alright, some additional incentive, if you can bag me, I'll stop killing beaners. -
