I don't think people realize how long it takes a bandit, a real bandit, to get the hero skin. Unless they're in a group that designates one guy to play the hero, most bandits will have humanity in the negitive 10's of thousands. Say they have -10k humanity, a pretty high humanity for most coastal sniper bandits imo, it would take 60 bloodbags to get them hero skin, per person. And each -10k more, that's another 40 bloodbags. Those guys who brag about their -100k humanity, that 400 bags just to get back to 0. That's a lot of server hopping and/or traveling along the coast just for a skin that may get you one or two kills before you have to get it again.

Typically they get hit pretty fast, but the loot is also notoriously hard to see in some spawns. Just gotta use your best judgment on if it's worth it rolling around in the grass to find a gun.

Not sure if it's a glitch or intended, but I know I've had some issues with infection in the past. Not dying of it, but anti-biotics not taking or my meters getting messed up. Anyways, if you need help, I suggest going to the teamspeak ts.dayzmedics.com and finding a medic to help you. Almost all of us carry at least antibiotics and several bloodbags, so we'll get you sorted out. Best of luck!

Yes, don't take off in a heli in dayz until you've tried them in Arma II and are confident in your abilities. I had one time someone tried to land with no auto hover, crashed the heli, killed himself and about 5 people on the ground.

Well for the best guns, heli crashes and barracks are your best bet. If you just need A gun, check barns, firehouses, pubs, and supermarkets, which are in plentiful supply on the coast, especially Cherno. -
A bit of a dick move, but it was just a private server I suppose. I know one of my DayZ buddies had told me that one time he hijacked a helicopter in Kamyshovo as a fresh spawn, and it had 3 guys in it. He took it out far into the water and went afk for a couple hours. Comes back asks if they're doing ok back there, and they just rage like no other, then he goes afk again.

With the zed spawns, sometimes it's a bit slow to spawn them, sometimes causing what you experienced. That, or another player came into the area and reactivated zed spawns, which is fairly likely considering it's Elektro we're talking about.

Can still get clipped under the ground if you're on a hill, or you won't find it in the grass/bush/tree, etc. Best to to just know to pull your backback gun out, and not try to put your on-hand gun in your backpack.

Stay away especially when you're throwing it, too many times I've seen people die to their own grenades.

I'm not sure, but I've seen the M67 Frag kill from approximately 50m away, they're no joke.

Yes, Arma II supports joysticks, just plug it in and add binds to your controls, then use keyboard/mouse for everything else. I'd give it a test run in Arma II however as it can be quite different from keyboard/mouse. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the livestream in question was Sacriel. Was quite the pilot who flew him around.

Commander if free and downloads quickly, PC gaming comes with a certain degree of glitches and problems, just comes with the territory

DayZ commander? Six Launcher? In-game browser? What are you using to start up dayz and connect to servers? I'd personally recommend DayZ commander if you don't have it already.

Well then, if it happens again, just press the right mouse button and you should be sorted out.

Do you have a weapon when this happens? Typically this happens when someone clicks their RMB to aim down sights when they don't have a weapon, so there's no zoom in, but your character walks because he thinks he's aiming. Try just tapping RMB again, or taking out your flashlight and sorting it out there. If it's an emergency, you can sprint away by double tapping 'w', but you can't crouch so it's best to get your sights figured out.

The public hive is riddles with hackers, private servers are safer, and white-listed servers are safer still. You can still play on public hive, I just wouldn't join a server with more than 20 people in the server, hackers target high pop for more rage and better concealment. I'd personally recommend joining something like Balota Buddies. Large community, whitelisted, multiple servers and maps, and a number of active admins.
