Updating Beta Patch Fix

Did the guide but didnt seem to fix it. I went in and deleted my @DayZ folder ran sixupdater to reinstall it and now I am able to join servers with the new patch just fine. Thank you for the info. Let me clear something up. Did the guide and it fixed the initial problems but I got the "wait for host" issue when I reinstalled DayZ it fixed it. Just so you guys know what Im talking about. -

Depends on where you installed Steam. Find your Steam directory /Steam/steamapps/common/ -

Well Atlanta 73 looks promising. I dont want to have to pay for a server to keep cheaters off. Just want to play the game on a server with admins that keep an eye out. I thought that was the admins job? -

Had a similar issue with people turning off the grass. I dunno how they did it but some are able to. Its really removing the fun from the game.

Nice to see the admin pop in and reply. I live in Dallas and am looking for a server with active admins to keep the hackers off. -
ctrl+alt+del seems to be the win button in this game. It makes no sense to me why they can't force a timer like every other game that involves PvP. I started playing a day and a half ago and already had a horrible experience with someone doing this to me and a friend. If its not bannable is it accepted? Should we all do it?
