Not only did the global mod move this to the WRONG forum she lied. This IS CHEATING. Move it to server cheating where it belongs. Are you friends with the admin of this server? Are you helping them cheat?

I am amazed that the game doesn't already do this. I'm starting to think the coders of Arma 2 are effing retarded. This is cheating 101. I see people joining and getting the error message all the time and I kept thinking they were hacking out their rocks etc. Guess I was right. Friend of mine quit like the first day because we ran into hackers doing this. Should be a trial period for this game if they are seriously going to code it this tarded.

BS Punkbuster does this with no problems you need to go learn coding.

Just reporting it. Theres like no way for me to tell you who the person was since they were invisible and I don't own the server. However I have seen this complaint before so I am looking for confirmation. If I place a tent can a hacker see it on the map? Today I placed a tent alone in the middle of freaking no where literally and was dead within ten seconds by an invisible enemy. Tents are now worthless. Has anyone else ran into this or can confirm?

You had the same issue me and my friends had when we started. Just ignore the haters / hackers on here that cry about you complaining. I wasn't sure what the hackers could do either so I try and keep myself up to date to avoid them. I find that I can have fun and play the game and avoid them if I know what they are capable of doing. Only bad thing is one of my friends that started with me now no longer plays because of how bad it was when we started. Its getting better over time with each patch IMO. Just start learning what they can do and you will learn to avoid them. GL to ya.

I think he was testing a theory, then he confirmed his theory. I don't see any proof but its enough proof for him.

Not to mention Punkbuster woulda actually checked to see if you hacked out your grass and tree files DUH!

I was thinking the same thing today. BE is fricken horribad. Punkbuster doesn't have these issues.

http://dayzmod.com/f...beta-patch-fix/ I did something similar to this, this time. I uninstalled BE from control panel though (first thing I did). Steam reinstalls it for you if you follow these directions. Then copy the files in as it says. Launch Arma 2 by itself, then OA by itself then CO by itself. Then ran six launcher let it do its thing. Rebooted. Ran six launcher again. Closed out when it verified. Then launched DayZ commander and went in that way. I did so much I don't feel like typing it all out. In the end I sent an FU email to BE because it was BE that was causing the issue. Anyhow that should give you a starting place. You don't need to delete the @DayZ folder though.

Good point Cyanyde. I am not having any issues at the moment but I haven't found a ghillie suit etc like some of the other people have. When I get a chance to test I will report all issues. BE is casuing serious issues though if you cannot connect to a server thats likely the problem.

Yeah I think thats BE, I had a horribad issue with BE today. After sending them an FU email and calming down I fixed it myself. Hopefully I don't get banned for talking bad about their mothers. You install using Steam?

I had the graphics glitch before this update. I think you people just don't update when updates roll out. Several fixes have been posted for the graphics issue. If your machines trash its not Rockets problem.

Buncha assholes. DayZ staff should easily be able to confirm this constant rebooting.

Do not use tents. Hackers will teleport to them. You can see that in my post history. Stay away from areas where hackers like to tele to and kill people. Do not get attached to gear.

LOL someone was hacking. Contact BE at [email protected] DayZ staff are not responsible for this type of ban and can do nothing about it. Reference the ban number in the email.

Yup thats why I love the new patch they are working on the alt + f4 win button.

Its battleyes worthless ass. But yeah theres a map hack to see tents etc...
