I have a group of buddies i play this game with and i dont want to risk dying and losing all my stuff becase we do all this kind of stuff together. can i do something to make another profile independent of my first so i dont have to worry about losing my stuff?

Ok. I've been playing this game for about 2 days now and i stay on for a couple hours at a time. no matter how hard i look i can hardly ever find any gear or food/water. i say ive spent about 8 hours playing and searching for stuff and all ive found is a couple hatchets, 1 coke, an enfield, a crossbow and a couple clips of ammo. is this a ridiculously small amount of loot or is this normal? please share your experience.

ok so im playing and im about to enter this building on the outskirts of a city then my screen flashes from 3rd to first person. no big deal right? wrong. i get out of first person and im a cow. im being dead serious.

I'm down to play too. i totally agree about how dying alone sucks haha

maybe I'll try that. but how do you find animals to kill? i think ive seen about 4 animals the entire time.

But i mean its fun if you have some kind of weapon to defend yourself. 90% of the time im prone going through a town looking for loot. and all i find is empty cans and bottles. doesnt loot ever reset??

where should i search? I've checked houses, barns and warehouses so far, as well as a few shacks.

ok i logged out of the server then back in now im me again but i spawned on the side of the building. i wouldnt lie to you guys and even if i wanted to i couldnt make that up. it made me wat so hard

I'd play. im in US central time and im fairly new to the game but i know how to do pretty much everything... I've just been having trouble finding supplies and surviving by myself.
