Hey guys, I'm doing a report/ summary on the compound crossbow and I'd like to hear your (unbiased) feedback on it. First, problems and/or inconveniences with it. This is what I came up with. 1.) Lack of iron sights/ way of aiming. 2.) Large amount of space bolts take up (1 bolt per slot). 3.) Bolt retrieval. 4.) General clumsiness. 5.) One shot per long reload. (Resulting in the need of a trusty sidearm) Next, possible fixes for it. 1.) Addition of sights/ optical attachments. 2.) A quiver for storing more arrows (5-10 per quiver?) 3.) Placement of arrow in the zombie's inventory when one is hit with an arrow. If you agree/ disagree with a statement, post about it. Otherwise if yours isn't listed, please post about it as well!

I hope that there will be some kind of better optic. In fact it's a perfect weapon if you're surviving alone and want to kill zombies without wasting ammo (since you can pick up bolts.) The main reasons people don't like it is: 1. Complete lack of sights to aim with 2. Massive amount of space bolts take up 3. Retrieving bolts when not headshotted. (can dissapear in body)

Cherno vs. Elektro - Which is more dangerous?

You know people say Cherno is more dangerous but my theory is that people think that cherno is populated so much so they go to elektro. And guess what everyone goes to elektro! I've only been to Elektro 2 times about and Cherno all the other times, and today I was in elektro and almost died! Had to kill a guy in a firehouse. Guess I'm not going back there.. Besides the grocery store- firehouse- apartments/hospital loot route is great. -
First, awesome avatar. Second, is the frequency of toolbox spawns increased according to player count? Because I checked out that 3 story industrial complex in the east side of cherno, and didn't find one there. Also a bunch of smaller places too.

It's not that they can't fix EVERYTHING, it's that they can't fix ANYTHING. Even the most game-breaking glitches haven't been fixed.

You know what's contributing to it? It's the damn bugs. You CAN NOT tell me that the dev teams are "Working their assess off" while the artifact glitches, which in un-fixable or very inconvenient cases, have gone un-fixed for many people for over, what a week or two? Today alone, I lost a M4ccoSD, my as50, ammo, coyote backpack, gps, nvg's, rangefinders, maps, compass, watch, knifes, silenced M9, and ample food and medical supplies, and a ghillie suit because the game decided to kill me when I had to relog in because of ARTIFACT GLITCHES. Thanks devs, for then spawning me in debug planes, then respawning me with absolutely nothing with same blood and food/drink and a ghillie suit west of kamenka. Don't even tell me that "it's still in alpha" and "stop crying ;_;", because these kind of bugs are major/game breaking in many aspects, and still go untouched by a dev team that fails to read the overflow of bug reports and fucks up the game one thing at a time every patch.

I was wondering if there would be a way to port the compound crossbow into the core Operation Arrowhead game, so I could play around with it and get some practice in the editor. It's a fun weapon, don't hate!

That, and make bolts stackable and add the bolt to Zeds inventory when you hit 'em.

Welp it's been suggested that once you hit a zombie with a bolt it should be added to their inventory. As for the player, maybe it should stick on the body, since there may not be room for the bolt to be stored. Or maybe a separate slot for bolts perhaps?
